Damn you must be on a good one homie, cuz u trippin on this one. Wayne couldnt get passed Lynch let alone Big L. On the freestyle tip Wayne would get murdered by L and who knows what his sells would have been if L didnt get killed and ended up on rocafella wit jay. Weezy is on the top of his game, ill give you that, but you takin sum of this shit too far

Big L has passed on and he wasn't a horrorcore rapper anyways. Lynch, like I said he has his moments but his subject matter is limited and he uses alot of punchlines over again, "Shoot like James Worthy", etc.

This is not a horrorcore rapper thread. Its about violent CD's which covers alot more then horrorcore hip hop. How many more times do I have 2 mention that? All rappers reuse punchlines over & over again. Name one that does'nt. If Weezy would of been kiled after he dropped The Block Is Hot I can almost garauntee u NO ONE would be running around talking about 'what would of been'.

I'm SURE they would, he sold over a million copies of that record and had a huge buzz going into his 2nd album. And he don't re-use punchlines.

And @ the time Lynch was reusing punchlines over & over either. His buzz going into his second solo fizzled out cuz Lights Out was some fuckin bullshit with garbage ass beats. BTW who cares if his first album went platinum. Ma$e first album Harlem World(which was trash) went like 3x platinum but mothafuckas wasn't checkin 4 him the next time around. Keep the record sales talk cuz that don't mean shit

Your 1st sentence doesn't make sense at all. Lights Out WAS Wayne's second album, and it was way better than Block is Hot. In fact, he was the only one out of the HB's who released a good 2nd album after they got distribution. His buzz going into album 3 had fizzled, but that was mainly because, Juve, BG & Turk weren't around anymore. Mack 10 was gone too. People weren't feelin CM for a minute, and Weezy did put out a couple weak albums ( that's when Gillie was writitng for him ), then Carter 2 was a whole nother level. Mase had some super weak commercial tracks, but Harlem World as a whole was NOT trash. Top notch production and "24 Hours To Live" was classic. His 2nd album didn't sell because it was weak as hell, not really any bangers on it. Dude, just give it up, your obviously bias and wrong.
