What Was The last Classic Bay Area Album

Agree. For me it resembled all the stuff on the radio too much....just didn't have any bay sound plus the lyrics weren't saying much. A lot of beats these days just seem to be trying too hard....got like 200 bells & whistles going at once, almost drowning out the verses.
A couple more recent releases I feel could be considered classics down the road might be Keak - Copium, MD - Genie In The Lamp, The last couple Apt.3/DNA comps, either of the Z-man solos. They keep getting harder to come by because filtering out the booty is becoming a chore, which is unfortunate for a lot of folks.
It's all a matter of opinion on this stuff so I'm not going to say anybody is right or wrong. I just had a hard time seeing why folks were so impressed by the Jack Artist.
