Go downtown to a dive bar called Landlord Jims, on Broadway and 16th.
One of a few cool ass dive bars in San Diego. From 8-10pm they got their happy hour - $3 what-ever-you-want. They also play some good hip hop in there. That's the spot.

I know a lot of cool dive bars, but that's the favorite.

word..this spot is cool as fuck.

You should go check out the Gaslamp thats always a cool spot I always really enjoyed the beach towns out there Mission Beach Pacific Beach Ocean Beach lots of cool bars spots to eat and the nice weather to party in the day.

Hit the zoo during the day...then at night, go to the top floor of the Hyatt in downtown... they gotta clean-ass resturaunt with plenty of glass to see the whole city... (got lightwieght snack items that ain't that expensive) It's the best view in downtown....
