Anybody ever seen this on the discovery channel? it's a documentary on what they assume the future would look like, and a few interview with scientists who present there inventions, that should be finished and availiable to us all in the near future...
it's a pretty entertaining vid.. what y'all think about it?..

don't forget that all predictions about the future of technology depend on whether there will be (civilized) people on the planet to develop it, which is not at all certain given the global warming threat

no one ever predicts the future correctly...in the 50's what they thought 2000 would be like is hella diffrent than what it actually is now...and if you think about it besides computers life is not really that different now than the 80's...still got the same shit and same problems

Just watched "The Body" that shit is crazy. At all the people that thing this is not possible...remember that the more technology we create the faster the technology develops. I mean look how long it took to develop the first phone and then how long it took to develop a tiny cell phone that can play music, go online, instant message, and be used as a GPS system, too.
