fuckin billboard.com site charts say "issue date: 11.13.06" but no tech

or am i blind?

even tech's stats on there only mention albums up till vintage tech

Actually it says issue date 2006-11-18 which isnt even here yet. I am hoping this is a sign of more errors to be fixed. Someone who has some time...look for other albums on the charts that were released 11/07 If you see some.....its not looking good.....if u dont see any....chances are the new charts arent posted

i'm sure it's a mistake

even Vintage Tech that was released "mixtape style" showed up on the hip hop chart and independent chart and there's no tech to be found on those motherfuckers right now

Where you seeing the 13th? On the Album Charts, 200, etc? I'm seeing "ISSUE DATE: 2006-11-18" myself. So, doesn't Billboard update on Saturdays, thus maybe, he will be there on Sat (the 18th) if he's gonna be there at all.

Doesn't Billboard.com have a membership deal aswell, where you get full charts and everything? Maybe the "Free" charts aren't updated but every couple of weeks. Iunno though, I never pay attention to Billboard, Soundscan or any of that other stuff. :\

Kweli didn't drop on tuesday, but that Jim Jones should be on the chart, unfortunately.
Meh, site I checked for Nov. 7th releases lied then. But even still, Z-Ro & Jim Jones are nowhere to be seen on the charts at Billboard.com, thus leading to the conclusion that they haven't been updated yet.

tech isn't going to be on there until next weeks issue i think

i mean...the first week of sales just ended this morning at midnight right? there's going to be some lag between the end of the sales week and his appearance on the chart

*edit*

after trying to click on the Top 200 I got this message

"Billboard Chart Alert delivers every Wednesday morning"

give it a day...

Should show up Thursday...

Billboard 200
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Jump to: navigation, search
The Billboard 200 is a ranking of the 200 highest-selling music albums and EPs in the United States, published weekly by Billboard magazine. It is frequently used to convey the popularity of an artist or groups of artists. Often, a recording act will be remembered by its "number ones", those of their albums that outsold all others during at least one week.

The chart is based solely on sales (both at retail and digitally) in the United States. The sales tracking week begins on Monday and ends on Sunday. A new chart is published the following Thursday with an issue date of the following Saturday.

Example:
Monday 1 January — sales tracking week begins
Sunday 7 January — sales tracking week ends
Thursday 11 January — new chart published, with issue date of Saturday 20 January.
Normally new product is released to the American market on Tuesdays. Digital downloads are included in Billboard 200 tabulation, as long as the entire album is purchased as a whole. Albums that are not licensed for retail sale in the United States (yet purchased in the U.S. as imports) are not eligible to chart. Also ineligible are titles which are sold exclusively to specific retail outlets, such as Wal-Mart or Starbucks (see Billboard Comprehensive Albums).

The current number-one album (as of the issue dated November 18, 2006) on the Billboard 200 is the soundtrack to Hannah Montana [1].

Hahahahaaaaaa! Holy fuckin' shit!!! Fun-Tee...

MY THING IS, EVEN IF TECH CAME IN #1 ON THE CHARTS, IT STILL DOESNT SHOW THE # OF ALBUMS HE'S SOLD, IT PRETTY USELESS UNLESS YOU JUST WANT TO SEE SOME SKU # THAT LOOKS LIKE ALBUMS SOLD, OR YOU WANT TO KNOW PLACEMENT... WE NEED TO KNOW HOW MANY ALBUMS AN INDIVIDUAL HAS SOLD. NOT RANKING # SO MUCH AS HOW MANY YOU PUSHED IN A WEEK.
