Great topic, i have always enjoyed hearing or seeing life in other parts of the country, or world even.
I live in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Mid-West born and raised.
The Good: CHEAP real estate (250,000 will buy u a mansion here lol), beautiful four seasons, good place to raise kids, Fresh air, decent traffic, No natural disasters, good location 2-4 hr drive from Chi/Det/Ind/Cle/Luv/Cin/Canada, Not flooded with looser/fakes/fronters (cats acting to be too hard,rich,haters ect)
The Bad: middle sized city, little to no night life, no large colleges near, somewhat conservative, boring landscape (just flat land and corn fields), hard/expensive to get good trees
The Ugly: Cold snow & ice 4 months of the year, VERY hot humid 2 months of the year, Few good job available, Nothing to do ever, no hangouts spots/fashion scene/music or artistic scene, Lots of redneck bumpkins, slim picking of dime females (lot of fat,married,3 kids, or good for nothing babes here)
all and all, its a coo city. Its what made me who i am, and i love Mid-west swagg. I almost moved to Phx but it didnt pan out. Im now interested in moving to Dal, I hear nothing but good things about the city.

I'm from Redwood city, i love it there because i know everybody and know whats going on and shit and the weather is great but I moved a little outside of phoenix a little over a year ago. Its hot as fuck right now but its only bad like 2 months out of the year, rest of the time the weather is perfect. i like it out in phx cuz the cost of living is way cheaper than the bay, i'm closing on my first house as we speak. what I'm paying for a morgtage on a brand new 3 br house is less than what id spend on a studio apartment in the shittiest neighborhood in town in Redwood.

San Luis Obispo is cool when college is in, when college is out it's dead. Santa Barbara is off the chain year round. Santa Barbara has the best climate in the country, but you're gonna pay out the ass to live there.
