I will probably get shit for this but I don't like the bay. At least not the peninsula and anything with a 650 or most of the 415 area code. WAYYYYY OVER PRICED and you don't get much for your money. The easy bay and south bay are definitely coo though. I'm looking forward to starting my air force shit in 2 weeks though because I'ma get to see at least 3 other places... 1. San Antonio for basic training 2. Biloxi, MS for tech school 3. My first duty station. But if I had a choice I'd move to the Seattle/Tacoma area, Portland Area, Idaho, Or Colorado

New Mexico is actually high on my places to move.

Right now it is #1 of the places that are actually reasonable
Cost of living is lower there, weather is better

I tolerate it here, but cold blizard like winters and hot humid summers sucks.

Where in NM do you live?
LOL@living in new mexico.. that shit is a bootleg arizona except minus the hot chicks.

i hate driving through new mexico..

From my limited research:

Rio Rancho has some nice houses, but I heard there is a decent trafic problem especially if you commute from Rio Rancho to Alb.

I was thinking about NE Alb, but the houses are older and if you want one like the homes in Rio Ranch you have to pay about 3 times as much.
The housing in rio rancho is not high at all...the commute is a bitch tho, there is no freeway access at all it takes about 20min to reach the nearest freeway...

NE alb right off of Paseo Del Norte has some nice houses and the best location to live but it is not cheap there.

if rents werent so high, traffic wasnt so bad, milk wasnt 3.50 in the store, gas wasnt damn near 5 dollars a gallon, half of the year the weather wasnt cloudy and windy, and there was absolutely no gay pride parade, id agree with this

but after a few years in frisco if i was to return to the bay...id live in oakland and commute to frisco when needed.

i did love the city tho i aint gonna lie...but its the total opposite of san diego and at some point i needed my beaches and sun back...

one thing thats great about sf is its impossible to be weedless.
rent aint bad if u got a roommate and got a decent job. milk is expensive, u win. lol. bart runs smooth wen u dont feel like driving, you avoid traffic too. and the traffic only affects u if you dont know the right streets to take.

and the gay pride....stay outta the castro. let em be gay and theyll let u peel your bitches.

weed: got em by the truckloads, good call.

its all preference. born n bred, imma always stay on this soil.

nah...you go downtown sf or anywhere near that shit....traffic 24/7...you know it too...yeah outside of downtown id agree but thats basically what you have to get through to get in the city...and the gay pride parade...they were marching through every fucking part of the city. i was taking the geary to get to work (was working at virgin megastore at the time) and the bus went up a hill and when i looked down.....sea of fucking people.....had to get off somewhere around nob hill and walk downtown

another thing that annoys me about sf is parking but theres alot of parking garages that are cheap.

and parking tickets...

i love the city..but it def has its disadvantages..and to be real aftere a while it got boring. you can only kick it around haight, downtown, the mission and so on so many times before SF is just...a little boring

they got hella nightlife tho....so that saves that
the weather was getting me depressed tho...i dunno if i can fuck with that cold ass shit again

yea i was fuckin w the muni when i lived there but i couldnt see myself doing it now...

Ehh. The City is not all its cracked up to be. Traffic sucks, parking sucks, you pay way too much to live in some 100 year old buildings and get an itty bitty space with no garage to park in most of the time.

The weather sucks most of the year, its like we have a permanent black cloud over us out here.lol...the only places in the Bay that I wouldn't mind staying is Vallejo or San Jose (or other South Bay areas)

I'm eventually gonna move down south maybe Long Beach or Daygo...

I like it a lot more down there, and love the vibe down there.

id rather move to the city since im there everyday, do everything there, and it is my second home but id like to make it my first. i grew up in san mateo mostly and ive always been on some other shit than majority of the people here, and i like a big city not a small one where everybody knows everybody and everybodys business.

i love the bay because i'm a native and i have such a variety of climates and terrain w/in driving distance..boarding in the winter and surfing during the summer...plus the song "i wish they all could be california girls" wasn't written because we have a buncha tore-back females walking around

i'd move to chicago if i could because it's FOOD HEAVEN imo...i never had a bad meal in chicago
