Dam'n straight, back then you could recognize,or were familiar with everyone who posted in a thread....it got so pathetic to where you knew where everyone was from w/o even looking at their location. You knew Drawmuh was from San Jose,or Cac was from Flo,or Chief was from Sac,Tooper,Cranky,Gate etc etc.I'll see a name now I don't recognize...and they got 4,000 posts. The BART forum really crashed and burned the last 3 years, atleast when the Sac board got dumb,it was net bangers who could entertain a little.

I think alot of artist left because the community got larger, and there was no more wolf'n cuz you had kats joinin the board who could get the real on'em cuz they were right in their town,or where artists themselves. The tough guy act was over, they got embaressed when people seen'em workin at Denny's,and Tommmy's Pizza ridin in a bucket. Most them kats only had money to drop one album anyway,or as you heard....jacked Roloc to drop albums. That's why we only see the I-Rocc's and Mitchy's post cuz they got nothing to hide from. They livin it.

This board had already gon' mainstream by the time verses were being sold in the sicc shop, that ain't old school shit....He's talkin BMR,Hypermart shit.
Didn't Smoov-E work at a Tommy's Pizza?? HAHA.
*waits for all the smoov-e lovers to get pissed*

So does that mean he works at 7-11 where they sell Hyphy Juice versus the pizza place?

I don't actually know if 7-11 sells that shit, as I don't buy it, care about it, or ever plan on drinking it. I just figured they'd sell it cause of all the bandwagoneers that fell in love with the shit like it's pussy.

I've been a Siccness member 4 about a year now & I'm alwayz running across someone talking about how much better it was back in the day. The biggest excuse I hear iz that it was'nt a bunch of dumb ass lil kids, less fighting & e-banging etc. going on but I use 2 browse these boards back in the Siccness "so-called" golden ages & I aw the same type of shit back then that people complain about now. What what reallly made it so great a few years back? This question iz for the "Siccness OG's".
this board consisted of a small group of like-minded people back then. shit was dail-up and everybody and they moma wasnt online.

what made it tight back in day was artists would come on and post, without having to answer to weenies on the internet questioning their street cred and get into all of it about gangster/street shit on the fucking net. it was more about music, and the people who supported it. now everyones a tough guy, and has been through every hood, and thinks their opinion is official.

now barely any artists, more jokers, more tough guys, oversaturated market, etc etc....

Man, hella people use to come on here:
Lynch
SICX (hella interactive)
Mr. Doc (had his own forum)
Ced Singleton (classic times when he posted)
C-Bo ( Rep your set thread was endless)
Hollow Tip (only posted a few times)
I know there was a grip of Bay Artists who posted

...i know im missing a ton, but all that shit was classic! now we get to see artists grilled about gangster shit (which, is funny, seeing how were on the internet!), and less about their music.
