I've been a Siccness member 4 about a year now & I'm alwayz running across someone talking about how much better it was back in the day. The biggest excuse I hear iz that it was'nt a bunch of dumb ass lil kids, less fighting & e-banging etc. going on but I use 2 browse these boards back in the Siccness "so-called" golden ages & I aw the same type of shit back then that people complain about now. What what reallly made it so great a few years back? This question iz for the "Siccness OG's".

In my opinion, it was at its heyday when there were a lot more artists and industry people on here interacting with their fans.

I hear u on that Dana but ever since I've been an official member I've interacted with a few artist & 2 be honest most of'em act like butsaz. I'm not gonna call out any names but most of'em act like they gotta dumb down 4 these idiots on the boards.

the people who were a part of it were more real in general.......most of em was from the Nor Cal/Bay Area cuz the site wasnt as well known to other regions....now you got all kinds of foos from all over the place and alot of em dont even know the culture or way of life us Nor Cal folks live and vice versa so it causes a lil more confusion and bullshit......

bacc then more networkin actually accured for the love of the music and cuz follks felt united through the site....there were occasional "beefs" that got a lil outta hand....i resolved most of mine wit the individuals in person and have actually ended up workin wit a few of them.......

you cant blame it on the hyphy followers alone cuz the hyphy hataz dont help none either.....hatin a movement or genre cuz of a couple stupid foos is jus dumb and basin your opinions on someone cuz they like the music is dumb as welll......

i despise people for thier stupidity not thier preferences......

there was ZERO I mean 0 and i mean Z E RO "BUY MY SHIT" threads unless you were a legit artist. I agree with everything said also. The siccness was more of a sac town underground rap feel. It was a place we could come and hear about shit coming out. Now Its not the same. Too much TBIB and BUY MY SHIT and the hyphy shit ooooooo man. Dont get me wrong hyphy is coo and all for what it is but if you my age or older(27+) and tryin to rock the back pack with the airbrushed shirt and the nice shoes and shit..come on lol grow up. It just aint happening for our generation. Siccness was just full of life back then. I miss hollow and C-LIM going back and forth on this board lol. there was always some comedy. Anyone else miss SMURF and remember when he re registered with FRUMS lolol. Also when me and XLOC used to go at it lol.

most everybody got along, artists were here daily. it was more of a tight knit community.

1 thing about the siccness nowdays you see alot of video footage and audio interviews.

back then the only audio i remember was the chico raido show with it's first guests as the main people bringing people to the site ex. lynch, de and the gang.

we were all tight back then so you can't get that back.

It's not the music, it's the bandwagon riders that follow with it and the ridiculous shit that gets posted which doesn't contribute to anything.

Although, the music is what got these idiots going and signing up for the Siccness....partially at least...

And the lack of artists, that's been mentioned...there use to be a lot more artists on here, but it started to suck balls so they all left and most of the ones that remain are pretty much bullshitters.

i loved when Cellski started postin on here cuz MF's was hatin on his Canadian Bacon & Mafia Moves but when he signed on sheeeiiitt mf's was his #1 fan again. and i remember when he used to rant about not gettin props for bein a Frisco legend like RBL lol
