Some of the expensive ones last several years or more. My mom had some that she wore for like 8 years...the only reason she got new ones is because they had scratches on the lenses from so much use.

But there are really shitty ones that are expensive too...and some of them look fucking ridicilous...

Loc usage is part of a culture first and foremost going back ages. Suburbian pussies who listened to rap music or saw gangsters hanging around varrios and hoods turned it into a trend.

So what's so different about stunnaz? Cats that played funk way back use to wear them...now it's a trend because of rappers who lack real content.

Hyphy music has NOTHING to do with funk. So the connection isn't even there and you're grasping at straws. Funk in some way or shape has been around since the 30's, the whole Hyphy thing has been around for what?
4 maybe 5 years at the most? And the trend applies because I can guarantee you that most of the people on this board and most of the people who listen to Hyphy music can not name 3 Parliament albums without google. Why? Because they're not the same people (hyphy sheep and funkateers).
