Damn... I hadn't been to the MSC website in a while, but the last time I checked, everything related to Strange was still up. I always had this feeling that Strange was just way to "happy" with MSC from the get-go. It was like they really really hoped that it would work for them, but they were always looking for something better. This is like the first time that Tech has actually left a label on his terms... I mean, I guess he and Trav pulled outta JCOR before it went completely in the shitter.

I'm just hoping that this new deal will bring him some heavy hitters for radio play, and back Tech with a high quality video for TV. Does anyone else get the feeling that the lead single is something we haven't even heard yet?

This is almost a guarentee, since it's been said that the majority if not all of the "Leaked" material won't be used on Everready. Couple that with the fact that The Beast & Jelly Sickle have both been released for, what, a year? I think it's safe to say that the single would be something yet to be heard.

There is a new single. Less than 10 people have heard it. It will be on the new samplers and in a club near you real soon. We want to spread this single the right way. This shit will start in the streets, spread in the clubs, hit the college radio circuit, infect the mix shows, build momentum at Urban/CHR/and Crossover and we will see where it goes from there. Keep in mind we spent over 1.6 million at radio promoting just 4 singles off of A.P. That will not be the case this time. We will only fuck with the people that will fuck with us. Even with the big money behind a single, we are still an Indy label. That means that we are not accepted into their (boys club); for lack of better terms. That's about as far as I can go on this subject on a message board but believe me this is a fucked up part of our business. T. O.
