If anyone on here has any connection to Kurupt, tell him jay deuce said he sucks.
LOL...I wish I DID have connections to Kurupt, but I don't! In the first '03 MURDER DOG issue (Vol. 10, #1), Allen Gordon (in his award section) gave Kurupt the "Joe Barry Carroll Award:"

"Kurupt. So much promise, yet hasn't quite delivered. Doesn't matter if he's with Snoop or Suge, where have the skills gone? Where is the brother that was no joke like Rakim? He was silent for 2002, and that was not good. That shit might work for Michael Jackson, but this is Hip Hop. If you move, you lose." (Gordon 45)

THE STREETZ IS A MUTHAFUCKA is the last CD he made where I felt his rapping (and production--Daz was still solid in '99). When Kurupt did "It's Over" (from SPACE BOOGER), we should have known then something was wrong...go back to the open-mike nights in Philly, Kurupt, and rebuild your freestyle skills.

PEACE!

Yeah the Streetz is a Mutha was close to classic status.
Thought it was the best slept album of the year.

i only listened to that roscoe cd once... it only had 1 or 2 tracks that was cool to me, and one of those got played out on the radio so i don't play that shit at all... don't get me wrong, i like how he raps but he loses it on his albums...

the album before this one, wit that intro.. where he's talkin' bout "this is only the intro"... yeah, well the rest of the cd was wack...

Space Boogerloo the formulaic funk album had maybe 3 or 4 sub and far sub par records, but the rest of that predictable and repetitive shit was on knock. One of the best albums where the rapper spends an album saying absolutely nothing of value or substance, yet the shit just sounds real fuckin funky.

Being on Death Row has got to suck so much sweaty cheeks.. The offices are empty, bullet-ridden, the owner is in jail, your album has a negative budget and will make zero profit, time is ticking and your "music career" is nothing but your own little fantasy. I doubt Kurupt's new shit will be anything worth listening to, if it does in fact come out in 2007. Them Death Row fools will be collecting social security checks before they ever see a royalty check.
