Last I heard he was supposed to be dropping an album around this time with KOCH records. I think it was supposed to be called "Last Call" or "Final Call" or something like that...i think it might have been pushed back or dropped all together.

All of AZ's albums were tight IMO. He is most def. one of the more under-rated mc's in the game. It would be tight if he drops something new soon.

AZ and Nas should make Life's A Bitch Part 2....with the same beat just new rhymes.

AZ was supposed to drop Final Call June 26th, but I haven't seen it at any of the record stores. I've had Final Call since January though - its a very good album but it isn't up to the same standards as Aziatic. (IMO Aziatic is one of the best albums to come out this decade).

Nice to see other heads on here appreciate good music.

except slicric :dead:

on that one song from Aziatic when he's reading letters (Fan Mail, maybe? I dont know the names of songs) one person was writing to AZ and he said "Since Sugar Hill, I've been a fan"...

I always assumed they were the same. But AZ is way too young. He was a teenager on Illmatic, wasn't he?

East New York native AZ was last heard in 2002 when he dropped his critically-acclaimed album AZiatic. Now, three years later, the only guest on Nas’ classic Illmatic is back once again withA.W.O.L.

Being released through AZ’s Quiet Money label in conjunction with Fastlife Music, A.W.O.L. is being hailed as another stellar chapter in AZ’s already impressive catalogue.

The first single and video is the DJ Premier laced “The Come up.” The album cuts “AZ’s Chillin” and “Never Change” have already been leaked to the streets and are being rotated by respected DJ’s like Kay Slay and Funk Flex.

Look for A.W.O.L. in record stores on August 23rd.

The complete track listing for A.W.O.L. is as follows (subject to change):

1. Intro (Produced by Heatmakerz)
2. Omega (Produced by Tone Mason)
