I dont even like replying to threads like this, but fuck it, I am. I see my dude CRITIC saying some shit, and I got his back fade on any and everything he say right or wrong.
First off, SAN JOSE people- PLEASE STOP TRYING TO ASSIMILATE/DUPLICATE/REPLICATE other cities in the Bay Area!! Do your own thing and demand your respect for doing your own thing. You will never get anywhere attempting to be like others. Thats what made San Jo what it is from the get go, while others were players and macks, San Jo had Crips and Bloods. It aint all about gangs tho, its just a different steelo we got out here. Now ask yourself, if its all that weak and shit out here, why do muthafuccas continue to come out here? All those that they say San Jo aint got no Hood cats out here, they betta get some reports from they homies they have come to San Jo and got the Buisness from some rowdy "gang-bangers" at the B-hive, at the Ambassadors Lounge, and a couple of other spots, matter of fact one was caught on tape and featured on one of yall favorite rappers DVDs. Sure the rapper tried to say that that was his folks causing that commotion, but it was then San Jo safest city nice muthafuccas givin the buisness to another Bay City at they rappers record release.
How ignorant do some of yall sound braggin that your city got hella murders, and crime. thats just being young and dumb. Since its all that grimey, would that be the best place to raise your children? Another thing, why is it the cats that rep the hardest for the worst aspects of whatever city AINT DID SHIT THEMSELVES to have that label, they just going on what was put down before them? I have been thru all the bay area cities, as well as all the cities in So. Cal, and as with EVERY city From Compton and Watts to Frisco and Oakland, they have they good nice parts, and they have they bad parts. For an example, one can go to San Fran, and just be around the downtown area, and make a day out of it, eating, kicking it with your bitch, or whatever and that person wouldnt leave saying that Frisco is hard, grimy, gangster. Why? Cause he didnt go into the right areas to see that. If you go downtown SJ, you see the nicer areas, you aint in the East, you ainty in the South, you aint in the back streets, you in where "everybody goes". Come on keep it real yall.

So San Jo got gangstas, so the fuck what. next time you feel you gotta test or question the "gangsta" of someone up out the 408, you need to get at your big homies that have been to the Penn, and those who have been to the Youth Authority. You see, when you get a grown man talking about his dealing with people from different areas, he keep it real, and dont give you a sheltered view that he got off some fairy tale rap CD of a life that the rapper aint even livin his muthafuccin self. Aint there a few famous bay area rappers that just recently made it known they were gang affiliated? meaning on some crip/blood shit? Not "turfs", oh, there aint no crips/bloods in the bay, my bad yall....
It comes down to dick ridin. I have heard some weak ass shit from San Jo, as well as alot of weak ass shit from the general bay area. I give a fuck less if certain folks aint got none of my albums, I still get paid and eat off this shit when I want. I look at it like this, I NEVER have bouth any shit by No Limit when they were in thier heyday, but just cause I wasnt feeling it, dont mean P wasnt gettin his money. 408, just be you, and make your music, fuck trying to be liked by the "locals" its bigger then Northern California. Muthafuccas may not like you out this way, but your shit might be Tha Shit in texas, Detroit, Kansas, wherever else, but if you dont get it out there to those folks you will never know, you will just be wasting time trying to please the folks right across the water, cause they "so hood".
