What does referalls mean on user profile

I know what the word means. But not sure if this means me refering someone to the siccness or someone referring me to a mod for bad behavior or whatever.

when somebody signs up to the siccness it asks you "how did you find out about the siccness?" if somebody puts your name you get credit for referring them to the siccness

It says I have one and I have never referred anyone. Hmnn. I would like some red stripe though. I bet If I get 30 mustnutz will kick me down some resin.
