I support what the NW is doing, but I also don't waste my money on a project I'll listen to half of. Too many folks talkin about shit they're not even livin' IMO. This project however is on another level. Listened to the whole thing and every track is off the hook. I'll admit that I don't like too much hip-hop outta the NW, but if you haven't picked this one up you're missin' out. Word?

That's a formality in this game it would appear, some cat's rely on every unit to pay tha cost to be the boss. I think if SP knew who the right people were to hand out a few copies too he would probably make the right decision. I mean EW is probably the only person other than me who would get a free copy of my shit. hahaha.

...

Every artist has thier own assumption on who can help them and who cant, ive promoted countless artists on my site over the two years its been open and i mean we get free cds from time to time but at the same time some artists will hit you up for promotion but never send the cd, to get the cd you got to purchase just like the next cat. Aint nothing wrong with purchasing the cd, dont expect everything free just because you run a service...nothing against reaper radio loving the idea but its just starting, give it some time artists will send thier cds or songs in if they feel it can help them move a few units.

he understandz that you want to help but like i said that's how he is making his money and for him to hand out the cd's like that he has to have some trust in that person, the cd is only 10 bucks anywayz just buy one and do you what you will with it, cuz buying one will just show that you support what my nigga is doing, and don't get me wrong i know you support the game, you know what i am getting at. it's just like burning cd's, i didn't burn 50's shit off the internet i went and bought it cuz i support what he is doing right now........

kube is different you get more exposure from them that's all i got to say .....
SO whats the benchmark here then?

500 listeners?
5,000 listeners?
50,000 listeners?
WHat should reaper radio be shooting for before they can get a free $2/unit cost album?

Exposure is exposure. This isn't asking for songs to throw on a soundclick page or a shotty CD-r mixtape. This is a show that is growing weekly and has FERVENT supporters.

lol.......shit it could be a cd-r ($0.10 at the most) for all i care.........i aint tryna get over on nobody, shit i started this shit to help out the northwest artists, cuz i didnt think there was enough attention gettin payed to yall, not "score" free music.........lol, but i dont get payed for doin this, i dont take monitary "dontations" or charge for the add time or to be played/showcased

but i understand what ya boy is talkin bout......maybe by the time he comez out wit his second album, we'll be big enough to get a free copy :devious:

and for you tadou.........

all i wanted was feedback on my boy's cd, but no you gotz to put your 2 cents in about this reaper radio shit, nobody asked you to speak on that situation. first off you want to cop my boys cd now you want to talk down on his choices you need to get your thoughts right in your head, that's your choice if you want to give your shit to whom ever, but you don't need to get on someone else for not doing so............ya feel me

@cisco
One is business/politics, the other is pleasure....believe, i'm trying to pick up a whole set of different albums, including S.P., i just need to get my finances straight. I had some extra cash this weekend, but something came up.

Ill never agree with the "gotta eat" thing though. Its like asking Ebert "buy a movie ticket and stop being a cheap ass"...Its one thing to have 5, 10 friends want free copies so they can sit around and get scratched up.....its another to send em out for magazines/ewbsites to review, DJs to play, etc.

Its all good though....i hope the album is doing well, ive heard nothing but good things about it.
