I'm cool widit as long as it's good musick. Don't matter if your from Boise Idaho and tha other cat is from Cheesehead Wisconsin, if it's dope, then I'm widit. But yeah, RickRock & Jay Z was a good thing. So is RickRock & AngieMartinez, RickRock&Raekwon, RickRock&JermaineDupri, RickRock&WillSmith, etc. RickRock is one of my good friends and I'm proud that he is doin BIG THANGS for himself and also now with cats like him producing hot shit, East Coast cats now know that mufuckas from tha Yay Area don't only make that same bullshit from the 93-96 era...........we still makin BIG HIT$! Peace y'all.

the bay was hot then but you cant live in the past saying the same thing over an over only keeps rappers from our area down its good to see artests network but what ive seen is every time some one from the bay gets with NY cats the NY cats outshine or the radio or mtv or who ever turns the song into the NY cats song an gives no respect to the to the bay like aint important or something because there last nationwide hit was in 92-95 an that whats fucked up

Its coo....

I think its good having a distinct sound from each coast it breeds new flavor in the airwaves....The problem is what gets played the most (The East) Corporations are blowing it big time.... Way too hard music is not being supported and backed enough from the West but everyone out here can still unify and ignite the torch even more.

Sorry it was tha wrong phrase. You're right, but what I meant to say was that It's bullshit now that fools are still making raps and beats that sound like it should've came out during them years. Yeah, we was at our best then, but now tha game has moved on and so should we. Don't get me wrong, even something like that could be still a hit, but bottomline it is tha reason we ain't selling units like then, it's cause we can't see past then.........Not all, but a big majority. You can bet that I'm trying to do what I can to bring it back though soldier. Good Catch. Peace&Pro$$$perity, RHYTHMX $WR2k2

most of the time i don't like it. especially when the eastcoast rappers try to buy themselves some a hard image by featuring WC or kurupt or whomever...
but mc eiht and redman on "nuthin but the gangsta" was tight as hell back in the days for example. if the rappers' style matches it's all good i guess.
