Dre's beats were tight back in 88 for "Eazy-Duz-It" & "Straight Outta Compton". But that is about it. I believe Dre is WAY overrated, he one was the top producer on the west, but that was a long time ago.

this album if it ever went out gonna be a massive dissapointment, cause take a look at the people that are around Dre now - some of them are straight cornballs, some of them used to be good, plus his beats went a bit pop

Kind of???I dont even think he MAKES any of his beats...he's team makes a majority of them...he just "engineers" them...thus him getting producer credits...

Thats not 100% true either, Dre has his own in house engineer. I did a report on him in my music business class last year. Dre is more a creative mastermind, he is good at getting a good performance out of an artist in that producer sense. True he hardy ever makes the beats. Hes the guy with the budget and wants a live orchestra in the studio etc and makes that shit happen. He is a producer like Puffy is a producer but honsetly i think Puff is way ahead of dre in that part of the game too

Fun Fact:

The Just Blaze produced 'Throwback' from Usher's Confessions album was supposed to be a beat for Detox, hence the ' You're gonna want me back' vocal sample in the song...

what i know about dre albums is that they r worth the wait remember chronic 2001?? took 7 yrs..but it was a classic...he will choose the right songs regardless of who raps.. he aint just gonna throw songs that are just dope..he gonna find songs that r dope and complement eachother and make an album album..chronic 2001 came out in 2000? next year will be #7.....

The get revenge over here! They chargin 13.99 for the Future Music magazine from the UK...well worth it though. Can't say the same for the Scratch price overseas. At least with the future music mag you get a dvd full of chyt...and a gang of useful articles.
