I sold my 77 trans am that I had since I was 15. I'm 25 now. I put two signs on it and parked it on the street. That shit sold in three hours. I was like "WTF?" I should have put a sign asking for more. All good I got 32 c-notes for it. It was clean but needed alot of tlc. And I dont do car shit.

So what should I buy? I need some good ideas. I don't like small compact cars. I like midsize stuff. Caddy's, Monte Carlos, Gran Prix's, maybe an early 90's Acura Legend w/some rims ,And be serious. If you got one of these, how do they drive?

I prefer to get a mid to late 90's early 2k years model. I found a blue , clean 01 gran prix gtp w/130k miles for 3 grand but the windows dont roll down. So thats a few bucks to fix. Still shoppin though.

Thanks for any feedback.

if 32 hundo is ur price range i would suggest that acura legend. those are some reliable cars. i had a 94 acura legend ls and it was a dope ass ride, i sometimes cry myself to sleep for having to sell it =(

just keep up on its monthly maintanance and that car could run till 250k miles with no major repairs

all good choices...but for 10-13k you are lookin at a new scion instead of a used mazda or civic.

I'm in the same market, 3k range, and there have been a few different cars that I've been looking at

1.) 1993-1997 Lincoln Mark VIII- 280hp V8 (295 in 94') Only car with Cobra engine except for the Mustang. Full Luxury interior, Mach sound systerm after 94', stock self leveling air ride suspension, self checking computer run through on every start up. Can be found w/ about 100-135k on the clock for 3 grand.

2.) 1992-1996 Dodge Stealth R/T- 222hp twin turbo. Same platform as the Mitsubishi 3000gt. 4 Wheel Steering over 30mph. Sports car design and handling. About 120K on the clock for 3 grand.

3.) 1989-1997 Ford Thunderbird SC- Super charged 3.8liter sux cylinder, very nice interior and space, faster than the 4.6 V8 of same year. Can be had 85-100K for 3k.

4.) 1993 Pontiac Firebird- First year of the 4th generation body style, straight away muscle car. 1993 upped the horsepower to 275. Saw one on Craigslist a week ago w/ 130k for $2650

5.) Previous Cop Car- Dont hate them right off the bat because they're cop cars. You looking at updated shocks/brakes/engine the whole nine yards, if a lower use car the care taken on the up keep is far superior to what people think. Calibrated 140mph speedo, only cars rear crashed tested at 75mph and pass. And people get the hell out of your way. 97 and older crown vics can be had for 3 and under but the newer bodystyle starts in 98 if you find one for 3200 or less its goin to have over 100-115k on the clock.

I'd go for the lincoln myself, I was in contact with someone to buy theirs but i believe they went off to Iraq so i didnt get a chance to buy the car.

I had a '94 Thunderbird SC back in high school. it was the tightest car I've ever had. BUT it also gave me the most problems. The spark plugs on that bitch would fuck up monthly. That car was never the same after I drove it from the Bay to AZ one summer. I have no idea what the fuck I was thinking...I can't believe that shit didn't break down on me in the desert.
