The 1st one that comes to mind is...

SPICE 1-IMMORTALIZED. This is a great album from start to finish. RICK ROCK sometimes is ahead of the times when it comes to the production and our ears have to play catch up.

here's a couple....

PSD - 'Game Cost'...........at first, I jus wasn't feelin' it at all. I copped it cuzz of that trac 'Menage Trois' from the Rompalation. The first couple of listens, I thought he waz jus an average rapper. I broke it out like a year later, cuzz I kept hearing ganga tight features from PS from other folks albums........Man waz I trippin' !! This cat is tight as fuc on the mic!!! This album is a bay area classic. Them Mac Lee features as the Crew Thang waz nuttin' nice..........Then he droped two other dope ass albums 'All I Want' and 'U Aint Heard of Me'............Everytime I bump any of his albums peeps be like DAMN! This shit is tight! Who the fuc iz this??? I be puttin' folks on some PSD all the time.........Lol, I dunno but I jus wish I could meet this cat someday and tell him Thank You! for puttin' out such tight music.....real chop

Dubee - 'Turf Matic'..........I kept hearing peeps sayin' its garbage and shit, so I was not really interested. Then I was like wait a minute. I own every Dubee album except this new one, and Mac Dre put it out on Thizz, I dunno so I jus copped it. At first listen, I wasn't really feelin' it but a few tracz. After a while I kept bumpin' it cuzz my homiez kept wantin' to peep it. That shit jus grew on me...a lot. It's not a classic like 'Sugawolf' or 'For That Scrill' don't get it twisted, but its far from garbage.

RBL Posse's HOSTILE TAKEOVER--the production and some of the concepts seemed a little "out-there" for RBL the first time I heard it, but after two or three listens I really got into it! Black C. has often said that his favorite group is Above The Law, and his production here proves it...instead of trying to emulate the old RBL sound, Chris took it to the new millenium and succeeded, IMHO. And the lyrics from C and Hitman are on point and street-centric (even the "flossing" songs)...

@BlessDaWizeGuy--A big AMEN and AMEN on your opinion of Dubee's TURFMATIC! Dubee's still got skills, and even when he's rhyming mostly about partying, thizzing-out and getting bitches, he's pretty funny, IMHO! Basically, my take is that if you approach TURFMATIC the way you approached TURF BUCANEERS (which was pretty party-centric as well), it's easier to like. Sure, I miss Khayree's production, too, but it's 2003, not 1996. I don't know WHY people act like TURFMATIC is such a crime against nature! Just my opinion, though...

PEACE!

Guce - if it aint real it aint official

When it first came out I thought it had a few knockers but I played it a couple weeks ago and realized it was a much tighter album than I had previously thought.

When I first heard Master P's Ghetto's Trying To Kill ME back in the day, i didn't like it at first, but I gave it a second chance and I've liked it ever since. It's one of my all time favorite albums
