There is 1 reason I dislike the hire though. That means our defense will get better, once again hiding tebow's "talents" and we will be running with him (yes i know a pun) at QB due to him be the "reason we win games".
this is possible, but with the debacle that has been jville recently I dont think he gets a sniff at HC for about 3 years unless he turns Denver into a top 5 defense right away.
del rio runs a 4-3, the same as allen did there. I don't think there's going to be much of a transition.
as for del rio getting another chance at head coach in a year. it really all depends on how many coaches get fired next season. if there's 3 or more coaching changes, I think he's gone. or maybe even a college spot will open up for him.
Del Rio wants another shot to be a HC, so don't count on him bein in Den next season if all goes well.. I hope tha raider fan in him fucks up that organization lol.. :devious:
90% of assistant coaches are looking to be promoted, the ones that aren't have already been there and failed. This most likely will be a 1yr move but the defense won't regress. The base packages should be similar, the blitz packages might change. As far as Tebow, the college wing offense won't work this year. There enough film on him now, pro defenses pick that shit up. He needs to learn a pro style offense, which I do not see him run. It's sickening to me the attention be got. Especially when cam newton had the year he had...
There were rumors that Del Rio was in play for the DC job at UW when Holt's gay ass got canned. I was super stoked to have his name in the hat, but i knew it would never come true. THe NFL is where he belongs. GREAT pickup by Denver.
