WEIGHT LIFTING QUESTION

I FUCKED UP MY SHOLDER ABOUT 6 MONTHS AGO. I BARELY WENT TO THE DR. ABOUT THREE WEEKS AGO. HE SAID HE WAS SURPRISED IT HADNT FIXED ITSELF AND SAID I MIGHT NEED SURGERY. THEN THE FUCKER GAVE ME A SHOT WHICH HELPED A LITTLE WITH THE PAIN BUT THE SHOULDER STILL HURTS TO THIS DAY. I GUESS WHAT I WANT TO KNOW IS WHAT IS TENDONITIS AND SHOULD I GET SURGERY OR NOT (ONLY 17 YEARS OLD)

OH AND I FUCKED IT UP WIEGHT LIFTING

Go get a second opinion.... and I mean from another doctor not from members at a music forum. lol

How's it working out for you?

i havent been lifting lately. i just been relaxing n whatnot. imma be buyin some protein whey shakes and eat a lot of taco bell and chicken and we'll see how that works out. im gonna be hitting up the gym a lot in tha summer since my mom signed me to CFF(california'a family fitness)

Whey protein is good, but you need to put on some mass in order to build muscle. Unless you just want to be ripped and skinny like Bruce Lee.

I'd get a weight gainer along with the Whey protein if I was you. You'll pack on 10-20 pounds in like 2 months gauranteed.

I have the same problem u kinda just have to work around it. My doctor said that because of the development of the shoulder muscle it may be pinching a nerve which she said was kinda normal in bodybuilding. So I do more hammer grip excersises when working chest and lift light with high reps for shoulder exercises. I also started taking Glucosamine which help too. Hope this helps. Oh and no I wouldnt do the surgery unless the pain is unbearable even when not lifting.

Yeah try Aplodan stacked with NO Shotgun and Muscle Techs NO pill pre-workout and Cell Mass immediately post-workout then 45mins later a protein shake. Optimum Pro Complex seems to really work and I've been thru several brands within the past 2 yrs.

Not necessarily fat. The weight gainers include lots of protein, usually 50-75 grams, along with amino acids, glutamines, carbs, and vitamins. As long as you're lifting while taking the weight gainer shakes, you will not get fat. You're skinny anyway and have fast metabolism, so the extra mass will be quickly converted into muscle tissue.
