With both Terence Newman (groin) and Orlando Scandrick (ankle) sidelined by injury, the Cowboys are planning to start Alan Ball at left cornerback on Sunday.
Ball started at free safety in 2010, but was moved back to corner during the offseason. Poor in coverage and a woeful tackler, Ball can expect to be picked on by the 49ers this Sunday, even with RCB Mike Jenkins dealing with shoulder and knee injuries.

No tailgating during or after the game. But you can tailgate before game starts just get their early and do it up. If you got tickets it shouldnt matter. Niiiiinnnnnnerrrsssss!

yeah man, they get on your ass real fast if you don't pack up after the game...

that will change next year if everything goes smooth ...

I love it how 49ers haters are doubting us this year, the surprise will be on you motherfuckers!

The 49ers just released the injury report for Thursday. Here’s what it looks like.

49ers Limited participation in practice: Crabtree (feet) and Goldson (knee)

Cowboys Did not participate in practice: WR Dez Bryant (thigh), G Bill Nagy (neck), CB Terence Newman (groin), CB Orlando Scandrick (ankle) Limited participation in practice: CB Mike Jenkins (shoulder), LB Anthony Spencer (shoulder) Full participation in practice: WR Miles Austin (knee), TE Martellus Bennett (ankle), Phil Costa (knee), T Tyron Smith (knee)

Notice that Dallas’ left guard Nagy did not practice today. Yesterday Dallas got limited participation from him. If he doesn’t play, and it’s looking like he won’t, expect Dallas’ fourth round draft pick David Arkin to start at left guard.

Also, notice how banged up Dallas’ corners are. The two starters, Newman and Scandrick, haven’t practiced all week. Their third best corner, Mike Jenkins, has been limited with a shoulder injury.

The next two corners on their depth chart are Bryan McCann and Alan Ball. McCann is 23-years old and 5’10″ 186 lbs. Dallas signed him as an undrafted free agent in 2010. Ball is older and bigger – he’s 26-years old and 6’2″ 197, and Dallas drafted him in the 7th round back in 2007

Been looking forward to this weekends games. Sunday can't come soon enough. So no Cowgirl fan's are willing to bet? lol Alex Smith and Vernon Davis are gonna light them up. Alex I got your back. Having six different offensive coaches has had to be hard on the guy.
