First rivalry week this week. Throw out records, they mean nothing in these games!

#21 Maryland at #20 Boston College

Not necassarily a rivalry, but this game means alot for both. WF plays Maryland next week. If Maryland defeats WF, they will go onto the ACCCG to face either VT or GT.

Michigan State at Penn State

Not quite UM and MSU, but a rivalry none the less.Playing for the The Land Grant Trophy.PSU holds the al-time record at 10-3.

Iowa at Minnesota

Playing for the Floyd of Rosedale (a statue of a pig). The Gophers are 38-31 alL-time in this rivalry.

Indiana at Purdue

Playing for the Old Oaken Bucket. Perdue leads the rivalry 53-25.

#22 Tennessee at Vanderbilt

No Trophy, just bragging rights and a whole lot of supestition.

Illinois at Northwestern

The Sweet Sioux Tomahawk is at stake. Illinois holds the all-time lead at 32-27

#15 Auburn at Alabama

The Iron Bowl. Alabama holds the all-time lead at 38-31.

Kansas State at Kansas

The Sunflower Showdown offers the Goveners Cup to the winner. Beginning in 1993-1994 the rivalry lost some of its luster as Kansas State won 11 straight games in football and Kansas won 31 straight games in men's basketball.

Washington at Washington State

Awwww the Apple Cup.As a Husky fan, I look forward to this game the most every year. UW has DOMINATED the series 63-29, but there has been 6 ties. The Cougs have won 2 straight and could win 3 in a row for the first time ever for them in the series.Go DAWGS!

#19 Virginia Tech at #14 Wake Forest

This is just gonna be a good game.

Arkansas State at Troy

With a win, Troy becomes bowl elgible and still has a shot at winning the Sun Belt.

#17 California at #4 USC

This isnt an actual rival game by the NCAA books, but its North vs South and the winner will most likey win the Pac-10 and rep the conference in the BCS.

San Jose State at Hawaii

SJST is bowl elgible and witha win, will be tied for 3rd in the WAC. Hawaii is having one of the best years in many with an 8-2 record and a game behind BSU. BSU would have to LOSE its remaining 2 games and Hawaii would have to win this game to be the WAC champs. Plus, who doest lilke to see a team throw 60 times a game???

GAME OF THE WEEK

#2 Michigan at #1 Ohio State

You better believe it. Not only will the winner most likely play in the NC game, but this is also one of the greatest all-time rivalries of ANY sport.Michican leads the rivalry all-time witha record of 57-39-6. This should be an epic battle with everything at stake.

Mich vs Ohio St should be a great game. In Ohio the edge has to go to the Buckeyes. Manningham, Henne, Hart, etc got talent but Smith, Gynn, Pittman are just as good. It should come down to Def.

I agree with this part, and that's why Michigan will win!

well Browns and OSU go figure, I thought there was hope for you but I guess not.
What are you talking about? Ohio St. is always good.

But...sadly...it looks like you are a Michishit fan. Why aren't you a Colorado fan?

I like Colorado as a home state, but when I really got into sports in middle school and highschool I just took to michigan as they were a better all around school as opposed to just football. And ever since then just been a fan. Now for football I do root for CU....well not much to root for this year...but basketball, ugh!!!!!

This game was everything I couldve asked for.THe best part is, Michigan STILL may replay OSU in the NC game. That would be fuckin sweet.
