Weed- class C drug...

Did any of you hear on the news today, that the government just downgraded weed to a class C drug? I don't know for sure, because I just caught a little of what they were saying, before they went to commercial. If its true, I guess it means that you don't get in as much trouble if you get caught with it. I'm not sure though. Anyone have any info on this? PEACE OUT!
