Yeah, they made that Original Gangstas movie when Gary, IN was murder capital of the US. Little SE Chicago suburb wit about 100,000 people but was averaging around 100 murders a year. I think they calmed down a little bit but Gary still grimey as hell. The OG movie was so & so, a little too commercial but it was alright though. I don't know why but they kinda made it look a little Chicago mixed wit the Bay Area. They used some real GDs, VLs, & Stones from Gary in the movie but then they used some Bay Area rappers and played Bay Area music in the background. They should've just kept it Chi/Gary style. They made it seem fake.

I liked Dru Down's character in that movie. He was on one.
