he aint gon pass up a chance to play wit davis
even though it would be koo if he came to da warriors
So he'll take $20 mil less just to play with BD? LMAO

At the very least this could force the Clippers to give Brand a larger contract and then they'd have to pull a sign and trade for Baron so the Warriors would get something in return.

It also forces Arenas to make a quick decision on his offer.
I love what the Dubs are doing...they're not fuckin around this off season

They are, but that doesn't mean the W's cant make a run at them. I'd prefer Josh Smith. I think he'd be a perfect forward in Nellie's system.

/\/\ as a self proclaimed man that watches a lot of hoop... you should know that warriors do not need a true pg as there are at least 3 guys on the court that can push the ball...and an off season of workin on ball handling can make all the difference in that young mans game....so the lol is on you...

Nelson has repeatedly said he's ready to run Monta at the 1...
my only problem with that is he will have to slow down...his speed is his best asset, but it also causes his turnovers...with him handling the ball everytime down the court, his TO's will either jump sky high, or he'll have to slow down....
maybe nelson has a plan for that though, he has a plan for everything

no way will we get Arenas.. The Wiz get to offer him a six year deal, any other team only gets to offer him 5...why would he turn down the extra year/7 million?

i disagree...Warriors do need a true point...they need someone who will dish out 7+ assists per game...they need someone who will get Biedrins the ball, early!!!

Are you saying that there are 3 guys on the court at one time at all times who can push the ball?

I'll give you two. BD was the third
Monta - Shoot first
StackJack - Shoot/drive first. Pick and roll with Biedrins second. Stand there in triple threat for 11-15 seconds of the shot clock third.

Maybe I'm missing something ...

CJ Watson - Did not show this trait last year
'Buike - J Rich Jr in the handles department
Matt Barnes - Kinda sort of, but he's one of those, "No no no no what are you doi ... yeeeeesss" guys
Harrington - No

The problem is that the ball won't move around like it would if you had a true PG runnin things. The Ws with BD worked because he was a stabilizing force who could create for himself and for others while taking care of the ball. Don't get me started on what the Warriors will miss in terms of a basketball brain now...

Also, I think some of you underestimate the impact Baron Davis has had on Monta Ellis (or maybe I'm overestimating it). BD go bye bye. This may hurt Monta's PG development (I hope not though). He needs to go hit up that cat that trains Carmelo and Chris Paul to get his shit super tight.

Edit: I hope I'm wrong though. Monta's my favorite player and I'd like to see his game continue to mature
