peete your forever the sidebuster i just dont think hes worth a charge whats so funny about that
Then why are you even inquiring about his services? Think before you ask a stupid question like that next time. I think he deserves a little more respect then that.

deco-d's dropped a classic album and has been out for 9 or 10 years. What have you done? What makes you good enough for him to rap for free on your shit? If a rapper goes around giving out verses for nothing to people with little to no talent or just unknown then that gives him a bad rep. I hate it when I see bay rappers that have been in the game for a long time even selling verses to some no names they got hooked up with over the net. That shit IS and will always be a joke to me. Who gets their start over the fuckin internet? You should be out in the streets making connecs the old fashioned way. Plus, the established rapper isn't the one making a fool of himself it's the wannabe rapper that buys it that is. Because the already established rapper makes out with a few hundred or more and you get a verse that is never going to get you ANYWHERE. What rappers do you know of that started rappin because of the net and became big and successful because of it? That are gettin radio play now? How many? Lemme think...uhhh... none? Doesn't that tell you fools something? There's a million rappers out there and 99% of them are wack. The select few that are dope know it and don't have to go on the internet looking for features. Why don't you all just produce? That way if you suck at that too you'll know it because your beats will sound shitty and no one will buy from you. You know I wouldn't be talkin if there were unknown rappers comin out this site, connecting with big names, and going big, gettin radio play, etc. But that's not happening, never has, and I don't see it happening..at all. The siccness should be used as a site to get info about music, promote, discuss, that's it. But to all you no name internet rappers just know that you will never ever blow up if you make your start or debut at mp3.com or siccness.net. peace

And I agree to what grumpy just said^. I couldnt really say it better. How the fuck are you going to ask for a free verse? Ask your self what have you done in your carear to deserve one. You got an army of your dickryders here saying your tight. Look at your CD sales and then youll see whats up. Your cd sucked. Your a disgrace to redwood city. I mean I apprecaite you trying to rep us and try to make us shine but it would be better if you just stop and quit embarasing us. Grumpy had every thing on point. And plus I hate going through every thread and having you some way trying to promote your album. Ok we get the point your albums coming out and Im pretty sure Ill just burn it off your co-worker just to give it a listen but you wont be getting me $10. Buying features for your album wont make you sell much. And even if it does get you those sales, yo do realize they bought it just to hear a-wax, or mista cane or who ever is featured. I hope you realize that. Im not hating im just putting out my thoughts out of the keyboard. Once again not everybodys going to feel you but it comes to the point where the majority dont feel you and you become an active kobe soz member of siccness.

Yeah I feel this too, Deco may not be the hottest dude in the bay but hes got 3 albums out, one a super classic that does in fact fetch upwards of 100 dollars on Ebay and has been on countless well selling compilations. Anyone who has that resume deserves SOMETHING for their effort. To inquire about their services and then say "Im not paying them" is a slap in the face to dudes like Deco that have been putting out music since some of you were in grade school. And I really gotta disagree with V-Boy on the "why should I pay for a Bay rapper when I can pay Ludacris" - this goes against all the things that youve said before that I applauded you on about keeping it Bay Area and bringing the shine back home. People want to start "bringing the Bay back" - lets crawl before we walk. Invest in the Bay and like some of you said, network IN the Bay. Not many outside the Bay care about us so fuck em and stay in house. When we do invest outside, invest in dudes like Noble from the Outlawz who actually comes to stay in the Bay, spends money on OUR producers/studios and puts people from the Bay on HIS albums instead of just doing us a favor by being on ours.

Real Talk right there. And once again getting eastcoast features wont get you much sales. Try making your self look good on a track instead of other rappers outshining you on your own track/beat. Quit being a dummy rapper.

BUT ANSWER THIS.... IF A RAPPER GOES AROUND SELLING VERSES TO PEOPLE WITH LITTLE TO NO TALENT... DOES THAT NOT GIVE HIM THE SAME BAD REP?

I AGREE, BUT WETHER MONEY IS INVOLVED OR NOT / NET OR STREET.... AN ESTABLISHED ARTIST SHOULD NOT WORK WITH ANYBODY WHO AINT TIGHT. PERIOD

I FEEL WHAT Y'ALL SAYING, I KNOW ITS WHATS KEEPING SOME RAPPERS FED SO I AINT KNOCKING IT. BUT, ON THE OTHER END.... I THINK THOSE THAT DO CHARGE NEED TO BE PICKY & SELECTIVE ON WHO THEY FUCK WITH. CAUSE GETTING DOWN ON SOME SORRY ASS SHIT JUST TO GET A PAYCHECK IS WHATS CLOGGIN UP THE GOLDEN GATE RIGHT NOW. ON THE FLIP SIDE I THINK IF SOMEBODY WANTS TO FUCK WITH YOU & YOU THINK HES DOPE... KILL THE GREED GET TO NETWORKING.

NO DISRESPECT PIMPIN BUT I THINK THIS STATEMENT IS COMPLETELY TWISTED.

I THINK THIS ALSO ONE OF THE BAYS PROBLEMS. ALL WE DO IS FUCK WITH EACHOTHER. NOT MANY OUTSIDE THE BAY CARE ABOUT US BECAUSE WE DONT CARE ABOUT NOBODY OUTSIDE THE BAY. AM I WRONG? WHEN THOSE CHOSEN FEW VENTURE OUT OF THE BAY THEN THEY GET LOVE, BUT WE AINT GOING ANYWHERE IF MAFUCKAS KEEP BEING STUBBORN AND DONT WANNA FUCK WITH SOME NATIONAL NETWORKING.

BTW. EDDIE I APOLOGIZE FOR CARRYING ON IN YOUR POST.1
