"Wrestling Society X".... it's a new wrestling fed that is currently taping shows for MTV....I went to their first taping months and months ago. What's cool about this fed is that they get underground and mainstream ROCK/RAP artists to play during their shows. The day I went to their first taping, they had "Black Label Society".

Here's the complete talent list, according to PWInsider.com:
The WSX TV tapings will feature Dragon's Gate stars Masato Yoshino and Genki Horiguchi, British star Steven Lyndon (1PW's Pac), CZW star Ruckus, Vampiro, Sean Waltman, Jack Evans, Matt Sydal, Lizzy Valentine, Teddy Hart, Jimmy Jacobs, Colt Cabana, Tyler Black, Josh Abercrombie, Aaron Aguilera, Luke, Ricky Banderas, B-Boy, Sara Del Ray, Vic Grimes, Lacey, The Human Tornado, Disco Machine, Quicksilver, PWG champion Joey Ryan, Youth Suicide, Kaos, Alkatrazz, Scorpio Sky Andrews, and Babi Slymm.

musical list:
11/11 Morning Taping - Lloyd Banks (GOT REPLACED BY Three 6 Mafia)
11/12 Morning Taping - The Deftones
11/12 Afternoon Taping - Pepper
11/14 Morning Taping - Jibbs
11/14 Afternoon Taping - Good Charlotte
11/15 Morning Taping - Yin Yang Twins
11/15 Afternoon Taping - Pitbull
11/16 Morning Taping - Gym Class Heroes
11/16 Afternoon Taping - New Found Glory

******

NOW, if you Tech N9ne fans would LOVE to see Tech N9ne playing SOME HEAVY shit like "Riot Maker" or some mainstream shit like "Bout Ta Bubble" LIVE on Wrestling Society X ON MTV, HIT UP my homie Kevin... he's the MAKER of this thing... hit him up at:
[email protected]

TELL HIM THAT YOU WOULD LOVE TO SEE TECH N9NE PERFORM on A FUTURE TAPING of Wrestling Society X because his music would definately fit WSX's crazy atmosphere!! also, add your 2 cents and comments! The truth is... WETHER you HATE/LOVE Wrestling, this shit would give Tech some GREAT EXPOSURE no doubt because they are being taped FOR MTV!!!

THANK YOU to the OPEN-MINDED people on this board who ACTUALLY e-mailed Kevin!! If you all really wanna help Tech get the exposure he needs, then you all SERIOUSLY need to ReQUEST for Tech to be on Wrestling Society X... e-mails and feedback and demand towards an artist WORKS. There ain't no damn movement going on unless FANS like you all actually get off your asses and make a simple E-MAIL REQUEST.

If Three 6 Mafia, Gym Class Heroes and Clipse can be requested to be on this program, THEN SO CAN TECH, so DAMMIT, REQUEST TECH N9NE NOW!

I don't believe this wrestling thing will actually make it off the ground but it can't hurt to try and get some exposure. If it flops it flops.

the first show I went to months back was a trial taping... recently, MTV just actually picked up and liscensed Wrestling Society X, that is why they are doing tapings....so yeah, get Tech the exposure he needs and e-mail Wrestling Society X and REQUEST TECH!

Don't you think Tech has enough on his plate right now? The Everready tour, producing, and recording, Any free time Tech has around his home, he's spending it with his family. You should ask Tech before requesting, cause eventualy the plate is going to break once it gets overfilled.

What we need to do is keep finding innovative ways to promote Tech to the entire world! This is just the beginning!!! We will continue to tour, promote, and ask all of our fans to help us spread the virus! Talk about Tech N9ne! T. O.
-Travis O' Guin
Nuff said.....hate wrestling or not, it's a great way to promote Tech and to bring in the type of fans that if exposed to them, they would hang on to Tech. Don't believe me? ask Eminem, The Game, Method Man, and all the MANY other rap artists that did shit with the wrestling world to somewhat promote them and their music...that's why this whole E-MAILING WRESTLING SOCIETY X campaign SHOULD WORK... IF ALL OF YOU TECH N9NE FANS give a HIGH ENOUGH DEMAND... DEMAND FOR HIM to be on that show ON MTV!!

HONESTLY, we need the same type of demand that it took for all the JUggalos and NON Juggalos to get Psychopathic's old manager A. Abiss to get Tech N9ne into the Gathering Of The Juggalos the first and second times....get what I'm saying!? ALL YOU TECH N9NE FANS NEED TO DEMAND TECH... wether it be on the radio or whatever....DEMAND.

so yeah, here's the press release:
OFFICIAL MTV PRESS RELEASE ANNOUNCING WRESTLING SOCIETY X!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

IT'S WEDDING BELLS & WRESTLING RINGS AS MTV GREENLIGHTS EXPLOSIVE NEW SERIES, "BAM'S UNHOLY UNION" & "WRESTLING SOCIETY X"

SKATEBOARD PRO & JACKASS ALUMNI BAM MARGERA RETURNS TO TAKE ON HIS NEXT DEATH DEFYING STUNT – MARRIAGE;
PLUS, GRITTY, DIRTY & DANGEROUS, MTV PUSHES WRESTLING COMPETITION TO NEW LEVELS

Both To Debut In January 2007

Santa Monica, CA (December 14, 2007) – Unveiling an explosive slate of new programming, MTV today announced the greenlight of two new series, "Bam's Unholy Union," and "Wrestling Society X." In a triumphant return to MTV, skateboard pro and "Jackass" alumnus Bam Margera faces his biggest adventure yet as he prepares to take the vows with his bride-to-be, Missy, in what is guaranteed to be an anything-but-traditional wedding in "Bam's Unholy Union." MTV will also introduce, "Wrestling Society X," the greatest, dirtiest, and most dangerous sports entertainment program that throws out the glam of wrestling, and piles on the grappling action every week from an undisclosed bunker where danger is never far away. Both series are set to make their debut in January 2007.

"Bam's Unholy Union" will document the lives of Bam, finance Missy, and all the friends and family during the months leading up to the anticipated wedding, and culminating with the big day itself. MTV's cameras will capture Bam as he tackles a world that is completely foreign to him. From wedding planners to picking out fine china to bachelor parties, Bam will inevitably throw curveballs into the process throwing everything off course. For Missy, she has only a few short months to find a dress, get a caterer, find a venue, send out invitations and plan the entire wedding. And, of course, April and Phil, a few random uncles, and his buddies, Dunn, Dico and Rake, will all be along for the ride. Margera has previously starred in MTV hits "Viva La Bam" and "Jackass."

Each week on "Wrestling Society X," the most talented warriors the world has ever known will battle each other and their surroundings, creating an experience that will alter viewers lives irrevocably. Featuring an onslaught of death-defying feats, aerobatic maneuvers, and truly athletic performances, "Wrestling Society X" will showcase the unique talents of some of the best in the business including aerial assault artist Jack Evans, the arrogant catalog models, Matt Sydal & Lizzy Valentine, the amazing third generation heir to a wrestling legacy Teddy Hart, as well as the likes of former World Champions Vampiro and Sean "6-Pac" Waltman. Also appearing in each episode will be a very special musical guest, performing live in front of hundreds of rabid fans and the fiery combatants.

For "Bam's Unholy Union," Terry Hardy, Michael Bloom, and Joe DeVito are Executive Producers for Sonar Entertainment. Bam Margera is Executive Producer. Lauren Dolgen and Michael Ireland are Executives in Charge for MTV.

"Wrestling Society X" is produced by Big Vision Entertainment in conjunction with MTV. Houston Curtis is Creator and Executive Producer. Sam Korkis is also Executive Producer. Michael Ireland and David Gross are MTV's Executives In Charge.

For both series, Lois Curren is EVP, MTV Series Entertainment & Programming.
