keyboard or guitar..which gets the zapp n roger vibe across better? In my opinion, it's the guitar, but I'm barely learning how to play the guitar. I can see the difference though. guitar is cleaner.

Well, ..Roger used a keyboard. It's more about the sound you use, not the instrument you play it with although I definitely prefer the keyboard.

Why not just invest in a Rocktron Banshee? They are cheap and fun to play around with. You won't become a pro overnight but they are worth the investment if you are into funk.
