Just got this shit. Can someone tell me how to get rid of this immediately. I went to that patch link, but I only have Windows 98, and I seen you could download the patch if you have Windows 2000. Will the Windows 2000 download work for me? I'm not a computer wiz, so somebody look out for your boy. I don't know what the fuc I'm doin'. 1

haha damn, yea try turnin your computer off for a lil while, I found that that worked for me, where it would stop it for a while and that should give u time to go download the patch and fix it

There may also be an issue in which you receive an error message in regards to a "Svchost.exe" failure. If you bring up your task manager & you see "mblast.exe" running under your "Processes" tab you are infected. Go to Symantec's site & download the utility & also DL the patch from Microsoft. Stay on your toes humans.
