:siccness: VIDEO WAR CONCEPT :siccness:

I have noticed a couple trends that have brought to my
attention the possibility of the concept. I don't really consider it a possibility but I guess it could happen. Sort of how alot of previous science fiction has become true today. Its just something I believe you should ponder. Here are the trends and the conclusion:

TREND #1: The military has been using unmanned, remote-controlled aircraft for some time now. Also, alot of technology is currenly being used and developed for the next-generation soldier. Technology plays a large part in todays warfare period. Companies such as honda have designed robots(asimo) that are highly developed.

TREND#2: Gaming is just becoming more and more advanced all the time. Just look at the progression from the first single joystick atari to the current xbox live tournaments. With games like halo, socom, and others that try to make the warfare in games as realistic as possible, the gaming experience is very different than what it once was.

CONCLUSION: How do you make gaming as realistic as possible? Easy, you make it real. I believe that the technology in both ares of gaming and unmanned, remote-controlled warfare are advancing so that in the near future it may be a possibility that they come together as one.

Just think about how skilled and honed some the players are these days. They play hours on end and become automatic. They are the perfect soldier. Best thing is, there is an abundance of them all over, in every city. It just seems like natural progression doesn't it? Thats just what I thought.

Reminds me of something i'd think up when i'm falling down drunk, then lose the post-it reminder to type it out.

It definitely makes sense. They even went from thumbpad to joystick and now the double joystick concept. Some of these new controllers coming out are just rediculous, you can't even keep up by button mashing anymore.

1. Ender's Game

2. Project X, with the monkey.

3. They will never make a machine approximating the human brain, at least not anytime soon. What seems more probable to me is a cyborg-like blend of humans and technology.
