oh dam man! very very appreciated. and yea i meant to say the term watermark but wasn't sure if i was right. i'll check it out asap.

I use Allok video converter converts all video formats, even FLV and MKV.
where did you get it from? did you get online?

i just need somethin to convert a few video footage real fast. i want to change it from .vob to .avi, that way i can chop up the footage in a video editin program. lookin for one of those free programs because i don't do this much and its nothin i do all the time.
