Well I dont have numbers infront of me but Oakland always comes up as one of the top ten most dangerous cities in America so thats point number 1 speaking to that point most of the crime in Oakland happens in like 2-3 districts or sections of Oakland add that with the fact that oakland is what 3x larger geographically than SF and that creates disconnect, .......... the last point is the obvious one that bein a son of the mission (which I am not) vs being a resident of the mission is two completely different things walkin in two different pairs of shoes, which probably goes without sayin but it seems to be ignored
I think the mission thing got at me cuz its a neighborhood with such a proud tradition of working class catholic communties and now we have this phenomena occuring in major cities where the kids of families who grew up in the suburbs of higher classes are finishing college and moving into the urban centers to spend their/parents money and transforming neighborhoods into pussified secular overpriced pieces of shit and the old guard and their kids get pushed out, if i was a commie Id call it class warfare
She just turned 21. And for the person who started the thread she is from the town, she's my lil cousin, from 35th, grew up wit the same niggaz I did, I'm black, she's white, and every quote from a interview is NOT news worthy. Her little brother's still here doin his own thing.
An I'm in the town right now an aint shit goin on but all our niggaz sittin in Rita an a couple got shipped off to the pin. Bein from here niggaz gunna look at what there is to do different from niggaz visiting. I been in Houston for 6 months, came back to the same shit, so I'ma say aint shit happenin off tops.
But in the same sense I'm also sayin aint shit happenin in Houston. If you tryin'a do some shit, you go to where you know there's shit to do, if you tryin'a get money you know money's to be made.
But then again I aint about fun cuz fun don't put food in my stomach.

you black with a full blooded white cousin? anyway blood. and i lived my whole life on 35th and i'm on brookdale right now and i was just talking to my nigga sauce who is also a born and raised 35th nigga and we or nobody we know ever laid eyes on this broad. never saw her when niggas used to hoop at brookdale park, never saw her at quikstop. what school she went to? because nobody saw her at clavin simmons or bret harte, skyline or fremont. she grew up on 35th and went to no schools that people in 'our' hood went to? bullshit, her fam might have stayed in some of the apartments on 35th for a min r she had fam there and she came through and kicked it with them. bu that broad aint grew up on 35th and she false claiming.
