using ps3 as a controller on your pc

i downloaded the drivers and it picks up under control panel, and in "test" mode all the buttons work but when trying to play games on sites it dont work

anybody know why? or how i get this shit going

what games? most games on sites are flash and cant handle even a normal controller.

there is a program that can make it work tho, i forget the name of it but what it does is re routes the buttons to whatever you want so you can set the joystick as the mouse and buttons as keyboard keys

i KNOW it will work with zsnes or another snes emulator, gba / ds / etc. emus, n64, blah blah blah

i used thy google for you, i searched:

apparently it's possible but difficult, didn't care enough to explore further

i'm just sayin since you tryin to talk shit to 90's babies, about a system that came out in August 89, genesis. and cartridges werent even close to cereal boxes, they were similar to N64.

NES came out in 85 in USA. ya its only a 4 year difference but if you sayin 80's babies about a system that came out in August 89.... 4 months until the 90's

why dont u just get a controller that is made for use on the pc?

it might just be crazy but its a thought. considering that the ps3 controller probably wasnt intended to be used on a computer.
