ON MARCH 7TH,2005 I SOLD A NATE DOGG-G FUNK CLASSICS VOL 1 & 2 ON EBAY TO A BUYER IN AUSTRAILIA, I SENT IT OUT MARCH 8TH-2005, THE BUYER CONTACTED ME AND SAID SHE DIDNT RECIEVE IT, SO SHE FILED A PAYPAL COMPLAINT AGAINST ME ON PAYPAL, I SCANNED THE RECIEPT INTO MY COMPUTER AND SENT HER THE RECIEPT WHERE I SHIPPED IT ON MARCH 8TH,
SO PAYPAL TOLD ME THE ONLY WAY I COULD WIN THE CLAIM WAS TO SHOW TRACKING NUMBERS, SO I FOUND OUT THROUGH MY POST OFFICE THAT ON THE CUSTOMS DECLERATION FORMS WE FILL OUT TO SEND OVERSEAS THAT THOSE NUMBERS ARE TRACKING NUMBERS.
SO I EMAILED PAYPAL THESE TRACKING NUMBERS,AND GUESS WHAT I STILL LOST THE CLAIM!!! SO I GOT MAD AND APPEALED AND I EVEN GOT A PHOTOSTATIC COPY OF THE THE CUSTOMS DECLERATION FORM, WITH THE STAMP FROM THE POST OFFICE AND FAXED IT TO PAYPAL, WHICH BY LAW PROVES I SENT THE CD TO AUSTRAILA CAUSE OF THAT STAMP THE POST OFFICE PUTS ON THE OVERSEAS SLIP.
GUESS WHAT!! I LOST THE APPEAL AGAIN, PAYPAL SAID I STILL DIDNT PROVIDE ENOUGH INFO. WHAT ELSE COULD I DO?
SO I GOT POLITICAL, I GOT A PERSON FROM MY POST OFFICE TO ACTUALLY TALK TO SOMEONE ON PAYPAL'S RESOLUTION CENTER TEAM, AND THEY CAME UP WITH THIS RESOLUTION TO PROVE FOR REAL THAT THE ITEM WAS SHIPPED.
WHAT U DO WHEN SHIPPING OVERSEAS IS ASK THE POST OFFICE FOR A CERTIFICATE OF MAILING SLIP, IT IS CALLED A
PS FORM 3817, AND IT ONLY COST 90 CENTS EXTRA
IT IS A WHOLE LOT CHEAPER THAN REGISTERED MAIL AND THIS IS THE ONLY THING THAT PAYPAL WILL ACCEPT FOR U TO PROVE THAT U HAVE SHIPPED IT, EVEN AFTER I PROVIDED THE RECIEPT AND A PHOTOSTATIC COPY, SO FOR 90 CENTS PER PACKAGE(NOT PER CD)THIS WILL COVER UR BUTT,IN FUTURE PROBLEMS AND IT WILL END THE REFUNDS I LOST 85.00 ON THAT NATE DOGG CD. AND I DONT WANNA SEE IT HAPPENING TO ANYONE ELSE. SO TAKE THIS INFORMATION AND USE IT.

anyone else have suggestions or problems like this before, please note them so the money u really make on bay is ur's u cant help what happened at the post office, it aint like u can tell ur buyers u got a problem hit usps up with that problem hopefully this helps all you sellers out der,

u just gotta know how to talk to those paypal fucks...i aint never got charged back on any of my shit i have sold on ebay. if you sell enough through ebay and paypal they aint gonna fuck with you. they may but after you tell them you will no longer use their services etc they will be all on ur nuts about the shit. you make them way too much money for them to be treating you like a piece of shit when your track record proves that you do not fuck people. if you show a record of refunding a few people here and there and having good feedback, they wont fuck with you. tell them to eat a dick and that you will use another service and see what happens

dude that sounds like the same girl from australia that screwed me over too! it's been well over a year ago so i don't remember any names but it was for a bone enterprise cd. she filed a claim only after a week since the auction ended, i tried emailing with paypal a few times including scans of my receipts only to have them reply with a email that looked like a standard "cut n paste" you're screwed response. so i lost my money there.

are you sure the cert. of mailing will work? cuz it doesn't provide tracking, it really doesn't do anything different then a receipt would do but i'll definitely use them if it does work.

@grim, i wish i made enough money that i'd scare paypal if i quit using them but i don't think i pose a threat to them.

i bet the siccness/raptalk cd sellers contributed greatly to their business boom.. possibly significantly... we were up on that shit way before other cats. they was all replyin with 'Paypal, what the fuck is Paypal?'. sorry to hear of your dealings with faulty bitches.. I'd blacklist her so future shit dont go down... its not like you've developed a trusting business relationship with this girl..

Ya those paypal fuckers suck, my account got switched to limited because i added 6 credit cards, I had 5 on at the time and added 1. Then they made me go through a couple weeks of shit faxing bank statements, debit card shit, other personal info just to get back to regular account. I got about 4 or 5 emails saying I didn't send enough info when I sent exactly what they told me in there emails. They suck that's all i can say.

Damn. I just hope you don't forget that 99,9% of us buyers overseas are legit. It's hella frustrating when sellers on ebay list excactly the CD that you have been looking for for ages and only ships to US addresses and even refuses to send overseas. If US sellers starts to belive that since we are overseas we're most likely to screw US sellers, like that bitch in Australia, us Europeans will be stuck with EU versions of 50 cent CDs only.
