PLEASANTON — A Hayward man pleaded innocent Monday to charges he slept with a 15-year-old Pleasanton girl and forced another to prostitute herself. Marcos Daniel Grimal, 32, is free on $250,000 bail. According to court records, Grimal and co-defendant Richard Parquet Jr., 26, of Oakland met the two girls on a "telephone party line" in July.
Parquet also has pleaded innocent to felony charges of unlawful sexual intercourse and is free on $250,000 bail.
The two men knew the girls were underage, court records said; the girls ran away from home and were picked up by Grimal and Parquet, who took them to a Motel 6 in Livermore.
Court records said the men had sex with one of the minors and gave her alcohol and marijuana. Nude pictures of the girls were found in the motel room. Later, the men pimped one of the girls to pay for food and motels "while on the run," court records said.
The men eventually were arrested and identified by the girls in a lineup, court records said.
Parquet and Grimal are scheduled to return to court Nov. 16 for a pretrial hearing.
