Saturday June 26th the Oakland Banshees will host the Corvallis Pride 1:00 pm at Burrell Field in San Leandro for the Divisional Playoffs. Admission is $15 for adults, $10 with flyer

The Banshees are the #1 seed on the Western Conference and also the #1 team in IWFL having scored the most points with the least amount of points allowed.

He have hfa, so if we beat Corvallis, we will most likely be playing Sacramento at home on July 10th.

Congratulations Neda! Been tryin to hit up a game but June 26th I will be out of town. Keep us all posted and post some pictures.

I wish I had a scanner.........I'd post up hella pictures. We got this promotional flyer for our playoff game and I'm one of the 5 players on it, shit looks sick. I'll let you know when the poster is available and you can peep in on our website.

Dang, been meaning to hit you up. I been peeping out (on the web) the local team here (Sacramento Sirens), but been too busy to get to a game. I already told the fam we're going to the playoff game at Natomas HS. I'm going to try and bring out a few of my lil cousins (all girls - we have the only boys in the family - except for a set of todler twins). I would really like them to be exposed to women playing a game usually dominated by dudes. It's a good lesson in "dowhatchalike".

Hopefully we can hook up before or afterwards and my family and lil cousins can meet you.

The Sirens are the 2003 Champions. They are a very solid team, one of the best in the IWFL. Unfortunately for them, they lost hfa...........so they are on the road throughout the playoffs. But Sac did win the bid to host the Championship game on July 24th at Natomas HS. If we beat Corvalis this weekend, we will most likely play Sac and the winner will play the East in the Champ. game.

Regardless, me and squad will be there.........and I'd be happy to meet your family. If you guys want to come out to our home game in San Leandro let me know and I'll get you some $5 off fliers. The kids under 12 get in for free.

MAN................We can't believe it either. I think we underestimated this team because we were undefeated and we didn't think we would loose to a team that was 6-2. It was a good game though, it came down to the last 30 seconds. 2nd down, pass was incomplete, we had the ball on their 20. Clocked stopped after the incomplete pass, and the Coach was yelling for her to call time out but she though he was motioning for her to spike the ball. She spiked the ball and it brought up 4th down. She passes to the in end zone..........Incomplete. Game Over

Things weren't going our way the whole game. We got a 15 yd penalty when they had the ball on 4th and 1. The penalty was on us, for THE ANOUNCER!!!! What kind of shit is that?! That put them in the red zone to score their last touchdown.
