everytime i turn on CNN i see some european diplomat saying "iraq is making progress"....

what they fail to mention is:
1.) its been 12 years of trying to disarm saddam hussein.
2.) resolution 1441 called for "immediate" disarmament of iraq, yet its been since december and theyre still not disarmed.
3.) saddam is a war criminal who bombed tens of thousands of his own civilians.
4.) france, russia and china all have current agreements with saddam hussein to build oil refinerys in iraq which will net them 38 billion a year.
5.) a french company has been using 3rd party countries to sell fighter plane parts to iraq, in violation of international law.

yet kofi annan, chirac, putin, schroder and other wussy leaders think talking will eventually net results...hans blix says iraq "could comply more"....that means theyre not in full compliance even though the resolution called for "immediate" disarmament, not gradual, which is what iraq is currently doing. 12 years is long enough. If the UN would rather take sides with the arab version of hitler than the United States, we should just leave the UN...we dont really need them anyways
