SOMEONE IS SNITCHING FOR SURE....LOOK AT SOME INFO THEY FOUND...HE WAS KILLING (OR GIVING ORDERS TO KILL) UNDERPERFORMING DOGS

HE'S GOING DOWN

JULY 17--

NFL star Michael Vick was indicted today on a federal conspiracy charge for his alleged role in a dog fighting venture that operated from a Virginia property owned by the Atlanta Falcons quarterback. A copy of the indictment, filed today in U.S. District Court in Richmond, can be found below. The 27-year-old Vick, whose nickname is listed as "Ookie" in the indictment, allegedly established the Bad Newz Kennels in early-2001 in Smithfield, Virginia.

It was this property, for which Vick paid $34,000, that the star athlete and his codefendants used as the "main staging area for housing and training the pit bulls involved in the dog fighting venture and hosting dog fights." According to prosecutors, Vick and his cohorts began purchasing pit bull puppies in late-2001 and would eventually "sponsor" individual dog fights with purses as high as $26,000.

In the indictment's most harrowing parts, federal investigators describe what happened to some Bad Newz Kennels dogs that either lost matches or did not perform well in test fights. After a March 2003 loss by a female pit bull, codefendant Purnell Peace, "after consulting with Vick," electrocuted the animal. In April, prosecutors allege, Vick, Peace, and Quanis Phillips, "executed approximately 8 dogs that did not perform well in 'testing' sessions." These animals, the indictment claims, were killed "by various methods, including hanging, drowning, and slamming at least one dog's body to the ground." (Indictment 18 pages)

Now we are starting to hear the full story

Sucks for Mike Vick, but if he did that shit then fuck his bitch ass (as a person). I can't stand idiots who force animals to fight eachother..

I never really stood on either side of the fence on this subject; my only arguement was with Phil about how the legal system operates. I had a feeling they were waiting for better evidence/witnesses (snitches) before they bothered to file any charges. Once charges are filed they have a limited amount of time to gather the necessary evidence to convict the suspect, so I figured there was a chance he would be charged and it finally happened.

WOW! When i FINALLY get a authentic Vick jersey, he prolly wont be a Falcons much longer...oh well. Serves him right for doing dumb shit. I dont really have an opinion on the dog fighting itself...i can think of worse things a person can do...like rape little kids, but he deserves to go down for keeping the company he kept and not taking more precautions to prevent authorities from finding out what happened. What makes it worse is that he breeds dogs....I guess 130mil cant make you smart. I would straighten up my life for 60K a year...130mil...what a dumb ass

I'm still trying to get that Vick jersey with Mexico on the back.

Just got home from work and saw it on ESPN; first thing I thought of was phil and scary going back and forth about this.

they had an informant on espn with his face blacked out and his voice distorted talking about vick was a high roller killing dogs and shit. I'll bet this still drags out for hella long, he'll waive his right to a speedy trial so he can play this season, but I dunno after that....

well good news is that the nfl is saying (for now) theyre gonna let the legal process play out and let the court of law determine guilt before a suspension which is the right thing to do. lets hope blank doesnt cave into the rednecks in the south that have been trying to run vick out of town for years.

wow

http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/years/2007/0717072vick1.html

read all 19 pages this morning...now you can see why it took so much time and investigation.

He is going down on something...even if it is just the commerce across state lines..thats a very easy 1 to prove for a grand jury....but it sounds like they have alot of "testimony" against ookie ordering the killing of the dogs.

I wonder if Mr. Blank has a team of lawyers looking over all this to see what he can do to get rid of him?
