Ever since I heard that, whenever I hear him on the radio (which I can barely stand anymore) he is always hating on something in some form or fashion. ALWAYS talking down on something. straight hater to me. all that negative thinking is no good for anyone. get him off the air if he can't act right if you ask me. the radio is supposed to be for the voice's of the poeple to reach the masses, not for some regular ass cat wanting to just bring people down. it's un-proffesional and wrong. i hate talking about it i'm done haha

If anyone is missing out, it's KMEL... Fabs stardom is growing everyday, this cat is on a song and video with Snoop and Short Dogg... It's really going to get ugly when they phuck around a form a group... Seeing that radio sucks nowadays anyway, The Bay Area rap fans should boycott KMEL...It's not like the listeners woudl be losign anything...
if ive said it once, ive said it 1000 times, the media is not the star. the artists are the stars. von should play his part and support the guys making moves period. he gets his 6 figure salary. he lives good. why all the hate on the next man?

i think that at this point things are still salvageable. a diss record would only cement future hate. i think the best thing for all parties involved is to have a sit down and squash it. if von wants to appeal to the masses he needs to support his area. right now fab is bigger than 95% of all artist in the bay and cant get played on 106. that is a problem that needs to be resolved asap.
I get it Von and Fab have a personal "BEEF", but FAB is the one winning with the publicity and sympathy he recieves for not getting spinns on KMEL. Well when you think about FAB having a radio show on 94.9 and the program director of 94.9 (and the final word in what KMEL does) is FAB's manager's brother Jim Archer and the Ozone magazines West Coast phtographer is FAB's managers wife and he has one of the Bay's emerging magazines Stash is his fulltime publicity machine alloting him a weekly Blog and nemourous reviews, interviews, photo opps, ect....Basically Why do people feel like FAB is being cheated and robbed of something??? He has the most free publicy and non-earned conections in the Bay Area Music scence. I think FAB is a hustler with his music, I'm not trying to hate or take that from him, but come the fuck on he is NOT the sobb story of the Bay. If anybody it's vets like Quinn and Mess or even Keak whom people should feel sorry for and want to rally around for support. FAB has his inside connections, 2$hort, magazines, websites, ect. that give him more plug than ANYBODY other than E40 in the Bay. He is getting allot of exposure with this Snoop song and all of the spoils that come with that. FAB has been blessed with REAL connections that have enabled him to be heard in ways and places most artist in this country would die for, so again why the crocidile tears for FAB? I bet Jacka would trade his funky little 15-20 spinns a week on KMEL to have all of FAB's good graces. And the sad thing is that more than half of the people feel like that goofy yellow bus thing is a bad look for the Bay anyway. Fab is a great personality an OK rapper and a lucky fellow in the ways of being connected to the right people, in the right places...lets be happy for him....HE IS WINNING and it's not even his song, IT'S SNOOPS.

You missed my point...My point is that FAB has the inside conections and structure that will allow the chance to be seen and heard with or without KMEL. Most artist do not have that trump card. Also, the words cheeted never came across in my post. And your exsamples are not on par with the FAB situation as I had described. Those people like 50 and Eminem went from nothing with nobody to something and were SPOTTED by other public muiscal iconic figures that endorsed them up front and to the publics face. The exsamples you gave are classic hip-hop rags to riches sucess stories. FAB's is a little different in the fact that public perception is that he may have EARNED somethings that were provided to him via his CONNECTIONS in a corporate under the table kind of way. I'm happy he is winning and if FAB comes with something to respark his deal with Atlantic I will be one the people buying his cd...just as I was the last time. But you did miss my point and your exsamples had nothing to do with what I was talking about.

You are both right, but why would that be dirt? It is what it is he has some people that can hook him up. That info is kinda already known on here atleast about Wild 94.9 and shit. But Fabby does have some shit that most don't going for him. It seems like he doesn't and hasn't needed Von to get this far, unless you count KMEL putting him on those battles and playing Super Sick Wid It, N.E.W Oakland and Gettin Kicked Out Da Club. Those songs kind of put him on as far as radio is concerned so I guess KMEL and Von did really support FAB at one point in time.
