You can chop a guy down with leg kicks too. It takes a while, but after a lot of kicks to the same leg, you'll see it get red and the fighter will start to limp around.

I did this to Rua, but he was still able to pull off a flying knee and stun me, lol

The controls are complex, but I like how they encompassed almost every aspect of an MMA fight.

I have yet to submit too, but I have gotten several flash KO's which is dope.

I don't know if the difficulty level is on easy for the demo, but I seem to have great success just throwing non-stop strikes, and ending the fight in seconds.

Getting a submission is REALLY satisfying because that shit aint easy. I've got subs by kneebar, and triangle so far.

how do you submit someone?

Click the R-Stick to begin the attempt, then rotate it FAST AS FUCK to try to finish it. The type of submission you go for depends on what context you're in during the fight. You can use the buttons to finish the submission too, but I don't know what the difference between the buttons and the stick is supposed to be

Do this:

When you're in a different situation (standing, clinch, full guard offense, full guard defense, half guard, etc...) pause the game and go to Action List. It will give you a list of stuff you can do pertaining to that particular situation you're in.

They did a pretty good job of incorporating the different fight contexts and the various options available in each context. Shit is pretty deep

how do you submit someone?

try doing the tutorial from the main menu, it shows you how to do everything you will need to do in the game. then when you are in game you can pause and check the action list like Peete said

My fastest KO was less than 10 seconds for sure...Not sure how long but I know the match started walked up to the opponent and punched him for a quick KO.

This shit is too dope on expert, I backed up and hit a flying knee on Liddell, noticed it staggered him a bit, left kick to the head, knocked him to the floor, pounced on him and began punching his head in stopping the fight, can't wait to cop this shit!
