RRRRRR.. this hurts to see how Chelsea came from back, first equalizer & then the winner;

Morientes played extremely well, 1st post from David Villa pass, next goal from Joaquin´s cross, then goalattempt close as can be, only Ashley Cole saved it from the line; it was the turningpoint,,,, so so close, but @same time so far.

Chelsea was lucky in the 1st goal, Ayala tried to clear the ball away (near the goal, and it take a hit into Didier Drogba, and bounced from there into Shevchenko, who made the goal.

The goal @ 90 minute was Canizares´ foul, he thought that Essien will pass the cross over, but Essien tried for front corner & it surprised, still i have to say Chelsea was controlling the 2nd half, and goal was in the air.
Good change from Mourinho to bring Cole into second half, to get Chelsea´s game wider. it worked. And onething that gave adventage was that while the game went ahead, later Valencia got four yellow cards for their defence players, so they had to play also softer, to avoid possiblity of red cards.

This was the thing also on the Chelsea´s second goal, Valencia players could been tackled around 20-25 meters, before the ball was passed into right side of field.

Canizares kept Valencia in game with two incredible saves, one from Drogba´s header that was flyin´into right topcorner. And another header from closerange, it was beautiful reflectsave.

Espanyol went to final four in UEFA-cup

Benfica needed one goal at least, but it was 2much this time;
Benfica pretty much dominated the whole match.
Rui Costa & Miccoli shot to the post within 2 minutes, plus one amazing reflect save from Espanyol gk. Benfica had also chance of scoring when the pass came to back post for Benfica player, but he missed it, didn´t shoot the ball.

Pandiani who was made goal each round so far, didn´t score today, he was taken to bench after 70 minutes.

I Can translate it into English:

By copyright reasons, video is possible to watch outside FINLAND.

So did the UEFA cup matches still work for you ?

And i saw the Manchester´s match just a while ago.
That was mad. Giggs passed 4.
Wow that score came around corner, didn´t see that comin´at all
Does this make Roma´s rest season in Seria A different, will be intresting.
One thing that is sure, is that Man U got some extra mentally strengthness
to next matches. Big year for ENGLISH soccer three in final four. Chelsea is the only 1 of them that never has played on any Europe cup final.

Manchester United >> have scored 17 goals in 5 homematches and won those all
>> unstable performances ,can win by score like against Roma or lose to teams like Kobenhavn or Celtic
> hunting triple, will this take energylevel/ material to play successfull in UCL

Ac Milan >> excellent defence kept 6/10 matches their goal clean

Ac Milan might play w/ out Dida

Uefa.com said:
AC Milan goalkeeper Dida may miss the first leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-final against Manchester United FC after suffering the recurrence of a shoulder injury.

Recurring problem
The 33-year-old felt the injury again during Sunday's 3-1 Serie A win at FC Messina Peloro having been sidelined for three weeks with a similar ligament problem in January. The Brazilian international will definitely sit out Wednesday's Serie A game at Ascoli Calcio 1898 though the concern is he might also skip the trip to United on 24 April. Dida has been beset by injuries this term, playing just 22 Serie A matches as well as ten in the UEFA Champions League, having also been ruled out for a spell in November after damaging a tendon in his thigh.

Damn I wish I could see all these games, I usually gotta work or go to school when they're playing... :mad:
Yeah , that sucks . Its the other way around for me when i want to catch a NBA game . It starts in the middle of the night over here.

But back to topic. Ive been away for a couple of days . But im looking forward to the semi-finals with 4 classic teams. My prediction that the 3 english clubs would make it through held up. I thought Munich would make it also , but Milan fought good and deserved a spot for the semifinals.

Its really hard to predict the outcome for the games. But if i have to pick two teams , i'll go with Chelsea and Milan for the Champions league final. Damn , both Man united and Liverpool also looking strong. It can easily be the other way around . oh well , fuck it. I'll stick with Chelsea vs Milan.
drop your predictions folks :cool:
