Iron Mike Tyson told the boxing media that a fight with Roy Jones, Jr., is only possible if Jones avenges his loss to Antonio Tarver. Tyson said that he is up for fighting Tarver and will show Roy how its done, by knocking Tarver out in one round.

"Roy's going to have to knock that guy out. He's got to beat that guy for any credibility." said Tyson

"It looks like the guy (Tarver) intimidated him"

"Roy didn't handle that too well (Tarver Intimidation). It was really sad, because we all had some kind of respect for Roy. And I have respect for Roy, you know what I mean."

"Yeah, I would (like to fight Tarver)" said Tyson.

"I'll fight him (Tarver) and show Roy how it should have been done: One round."

"I'd like to see Mike get active, get a couple of fights under his belt" said trainer Freddie Roach

"Mike knows the protocol. He knows how to do it.

"He knows he needs to fight to get the rust off. Then, he can fight for the championship of the world against any one of them."

yea i read about that too.. i agree. tyson is back ..watch , tyson will be champ again in 2005 ..think of all the heavies out there..who can beat tyson? i think nobody . tyson is a sav. always will be my favorite fighter . july 31st begins the comeback!!!!

how old is tyson now??....how long has he been saying he is going to fight this person....this person...that person??....he's all talk now...and he is NOT going to be the champ again in 2005.

tyson is about to turn 38 , he still has a few years left in em . especially now that he is with one of the most agressive trainers ever. freddie roach will get em into his best shape as he's been in a long time. hes got 3 fights lined up this year , and 2005 he will fight for one of the titles ...watch and see tyson is back

he was heavily medicated and depressed , i aint tryin to make excused for tyson . fuck the past. all i know is that tyson is back and motivated as ever....

I dunno.. hes gettin up there. I dont think he has enough to become HW champ again. he could beat jones and tarvers asses though. easily.

yea but you gotta look at the heavyweight champs .. john ruiz ( tyson can beat surely ) chris byrd who is slick but im knowin tyson can take em ( look what golota did to byrd ) , brewster ) hes a joke. really the only man to beat would be vitaly klitchko. and hes good but tyson spent alot of his career choppin down big trees . i personally think tyson can beat any of the heavyweight champs of now , even klitchko if he can get past that jab which i think he can . klitchko got bombs but not a heavy hitter and tyson also has a rock hard chin .. he got more chance than anybody to dominate the heavyweight division one more time


oh yea , he might be comin up on 38 but he still got power and hand speed. look at hopkins 39 years old and still dominatin the game ....

i agree he got bombs , but i think tyson could chop him down , and also tyson looked pretty good last time , even though he knocked dude out in 49 seconds...lol...dude coulda got up though....

Just proves how shite the heavyweight division is when folks are still gettin excited about Mike Tyson. I'd much rather hear about the new blood comin thru than that basket case. I was hoping the beating Lewis gave him might have sent him into retirement but he's like a bad smell that keeps on coming back. IMO boxing is better off without that damn fool

tyson was the boy back in the day but that fool got smacked all over the ring with lewis and holyfield. He wont be no champ again unless that fool listens to his trainer. he need somebody that gonig to push the shit out of him.
I'm wainting on the new knockout artist. heavyweight boxing is weak right now. he kissed lewis ass after the fight, after talking all that shit.
