loney has not proved that he is ready. sure he only got like 40 ABs in the bigs, but he didnt show much besides his defense. he has been hot in AAA but still hasnt proven he can hit in the bigs.

and in most people's eyes after seeing both Kemp and Guzman in the majors, Kemp is the better overall player. guzman really has no place either. we're loaded at every position he plays. SS isnt an option after signing furcal and still having 2 or 3 other natural SS. 3B isnt relly an option with laroche ahead of him. his defense is below average at both those positions too. the outfield is pretty packed also with ethier, kemp, repko, drew...his future just doesnt look bright with the dodgers.

so loney and billingsley i would THINK about trading for willis, but i wouldnt unload them in a heartbeat...
Loney doesnt have much experience in the Majors because Nomar and/or KenT are blocking his path. but he could easily catch on with another team if traded. to me thats MLB ready, just hasnt got the chance yet because his path is blocked in LA.

Guzman, your right he doesnt have a position right now because he just got moved off of SS this year. but his cieling is so high that he will only be included in a trade to bring a legitimate #1 pitcher to LA.

Kemp also has a very high ceiling but he isnt MLB ready, he needs to be sent back down to learn the strike zone better and to work on laying off breaking pitches. i suspect that as soon as Repko returns Kemp with be sent back down.

Either, as much as i enjoy his play right now, is hitting way over his head and will eventually come back down to Earth. so right now would be the best time to trade him.

LaRoach is on the DL and may need TJ Surgury last time i checked up on him.

Martin i wouldnt trade for ANYBODY. same goes with the lefties Elbert, Miller, and Kuo (in Majors now)

Broxton COULD be the next Gagne

What's Billingsley's deal...I watched him throw a couple weeks ago,and he was'nt to impressive.I'll admit,I did'nt watch long,but he was topping out at 92-93,what's his stuff like?Maybe I was loaded
his fastball tops out at like 94-95 usually. he has bad control problems. he'll probably go back down when tomko comes back.

Guzman does not have the value he had before. It would take a hell of a package to land a #1 starter. There arent any available anyway though, so it doesnt even matter.

Laroche is not on the DL. He rested his shoulder for 10 days and didnt need surgery. He is also expected to come up to play 3B as Izturis is gone while his wife has a baby.

And Kuo is not in the majors now.

well if any become available the Dodgers, Angels and the D-Backs are the teams that could offer up packages

he isnt ready for the majors, they should just play Fat Boy or Martinez at third until Izzy retuns

And Kuo is not in the majors now.
when did he get sent down, during the AS break?

kuo went down like 2 weeks ago when Carrara got called up.

With Lackey, Santana, and Weaver the Angels definitely ain't in the market for Willis. I've heard that we're currently looking at Soriano as a strong possibility. I really don't wanna part ways with Kendrick, though. Especially since Kennedy's a FA this year.

your right july 4th he went down

kemp has a high cieling but struggling bad with breaking pitches sending him down will be good for him.

i think Fat Boy would do a better job at third than LaRoach. Fat Boy needs more ABs
