TV suggestions

im about to get a new tv soon. what are some suggestions? lcd plasma dlp which is better?

plasma for picture quality, lcd for long lasting durability, and dlp is garbage (the side viewing is horrible, you gotta watch it from directly in front)

i know a lot of people are anti-vizio, but i got one a year and a half ago and had no problems...the picture quality looks just as good as some of my folks' tvs who have LG's and phillips and shit...plus they're cheeaaaaaaap.

get an LCD...i just got a Sony Bravia and its super clean.... yeah if your on a budget just go for the Vizio at Costco....those aint bad

i was just tryin to keep it under 3Gz. i was checkin out vizios at walmart last night. a 42"lcd was like $986. i want that sony at costco but i dont remember how much it was, that sony at costco had the cleanest picture out of all the tv's there

I bought a 40 inch LCD Samsung tv with 1080p lcd bout 3 months ag0 and have to say its the best purchase i have done, it only cost me like 1200 bucks because i showed them the best buy price was cheaper.... best decision ever

i got it yesterday and hooked it up right now, and im not impressed with it on the gaming visuals (my old 37" sharp x flat looks better, its hooked up with component cables). besides the fact the picture quality isnt all that great, the fuckin tv screen came cracked on the bottom. so ima take it back and get a different tv. any suggestions? im looking for at least a 42"tv
