Some people celebrate Thanksgiving LUNCH, which to me is pretty gay because I never look forward to eating lunch on any given day.

Then there's MOST of us who celebrate Thanksgiving for DINNER... the way it was meant to be :cool:

So my question is where do you celebrate Thanksgiving and is it is a dinner or lunch?

Me... it's always been at my house for the past 22 years of my life with all my aunts, uncles and cousins. It gets over 40 deep at this house.

I don't see anything gay about it unless you have a huge ass dinner table for everyone to sit down for a proper dinner. We usually start late afternoon about 5 ish. Play poker, watch football and hang out ouside with the guys while the woman are indoors cooking!

Yea same here 5pm seems to be the best time, and it's the same time I eat dinner everyday... but we usually don't get to grubbing until 6, with fam someone has to bring a dish and if they're lagging it kills it.

I don't see what's so special about Thanksgiving. I'm thankful everyday that I'm blessed with opportunity. It's probably going to be a normal day.... Probably go out, get blazed do my daily shit, and eat a shit load of food at the end of the day.

i'm not doin shit this year. my mom and step dad wanted to have dinner last night so they could leave today and go fuck around at their cabin...

and my girl's dad had a really bad accident last night and was in the ER....so her parents aren't doing anything either...

so i'm gonna sit at home, watch tv/movies, play video games...eat pie and whatever else i can whip up at the pad, and smoke a blunt and a bunch of keif.

fuck thanksgiving anyway...all you're celebrating is the slaughter and rape of native americans...and killing a turkey...then saying thank you to an invisible entity, which could or could not be there....

Then why does Canada celebrate Thanksgiving too? :confused:

It's just a day in the year to give Thanks for whatever you're grateful for... and in the pilgrims/immigrants case; new land, new opportunity.

Eat turkey get fat... who isn't happy when eating some pumpkin pie :)

I usually eat with my mom's family around 3. After a healthy shit, I head out to see my dad and his family.

At the end of the day I feel like dying from all the food.

So they can have a day for thanks...? But...they have it in October. It's not based around the same shit in Canada, I don't believe. Canada had their "first" Thanksgiving in 1578.

Yes, I'm grateful that some white people killed tons of native americans for their land. I'm SO happy about that! I just can't contain myself!

Apple pie is more my thing, my mom eats pumpkin pie.

i always have a big family thing on thanksgiving
atleast 50-60 of my relatives are there
i know the dinner starts at 2 then ill head to my grls house
wich starts around 7
so after today i think im gonna be about 10 pounds heavier then i am right now

I doubt if anyone celebrates thanks giving so literally, besides I don't think the pilgrims had an orgy with the native girls and after gathered for some turkey. It's a day to get together with family and friends, eat, watch football and bullshit. No More, No less.

Hit up my older brothers house.. my family and my brothers wifes family all will be there... then I got about 4 spots to hit up... at least I told them all i would slide thru... depends on how faded I get and what I feel like doing..

Happy Thanksgiving to everybody out there hope ya have a good time with your family and friends.......

Be around loved ones watchin football and eating food... don't get much better than that!!!
