I don't give a fuck. I think the same thing about Kurt Cobain. He died and he wasn't shit untill he did.
The point is, I find it funny that no matter how much bullshit comes out, you kids'll just keep waiting for the next bullshit documentary to tell you the same old shit.
He was a good writer, and an ok rapper. Big fuckin' deal. If you want to read some good shit, check out poetry by Jim Morrison. But nah, that's not what it's about. It's all about this "Pac was a legend" bullshit that's been fed to all of you by your peers, The Source, XXL, and BET.
If 50 Cent or Dr. Dre got shot tomorrow everyone would forget Tupacs name and ride the nuts of another dead rapper. How come Biggie and Tupac are always argued about? Why not anyone else? Because obviously the "greatest of all time" can't be someone who is living or died of natural causes.

Pac was a rapper. He really never did shit for too many people (except for that one story about him visiting the girl and her family in the hospital with no press around, if it's true) and I don't remember anyone being shot by Marilyn Manson or him raping anyone or even being accused of it.

Pac was a guy who rapped, and Marilyn Manson is a walking, living piece of art, dude.
I think they're actually very similar, just on different levels and using different styles of music. I challenge you to post up anything that would convince me otherwise (lyrics/other writing, news stories, anything) but basically you're comparing apples to oranges, and even if you could compare the two it bears no relevance to what I'm saying. You just bring up Marilyn Manson and ICP because you think that will offend me on some personal level, which it doesn't, I assure you.
What I'm saying is that Tupac is raps version of Kurt Cobain, and I have the same feelings (if not worse) towards the way people talk about Kurt Cobain as if he were mother Theresa.
