I don't use a Microwave and haven't for years. But I highly doubt the radiation of a microwave is comparable to a big machine that can see through your clothes and that spits out ionizing radiation that can contribute to cancer.

This is a new technology to the public so we can't write it off like it's not a big deal. Some people have very sensitive bodies and a machine like this can make things worst for them. For example look how mammograms have affected women.

sacraficing our liberties for a temporary security is what this is about. am i wrong? the TSA are putting people thru things that take away a persons liberty not everyone wants to be put on blast for the sake of what they call security.

just like i was told by my father when i was little is that security measures are only there to keep honest people honest anyone that wants to do something bad enough will do it. sure you can opt out of a body scan but then you are subjected to other intrusive searches. I for one think that this scare tactic of terrorism is taking away our civil liberties and being intrusive as hell and i dont think we should stand for it. but to each their own.
