Yep. Man...you and every other seller needs to do it. I haven't had any problems since I started this practice. I do get the ocational person telling me that they're not going to pay it, but that doesn't bother me. It doesn't bother me, because I can always file a "Non-Paying-Bidders Notice" and get all my costs back and I leave negative feedback without any retaliation feedback counting against me. I love this Registered Mail. I will warn you that it does take longer for your packages to arrive, due to it's shipping manner, but it's worth it for the customer and you.

The days of non-receipt claims are over with. I suggest that all US sellers do the same. It's fucked up that I have to do it, because I wish that I didn't have too; but I understand that I can't trust anybody anymore. Not even a customer who's purchased from me for years. You never know when your customer decides to go sour on you.

The cost for Registered mail is over $10, but I keep it at flat rate of $10.

INTERNATIONAL SCAMMERS!! That's why I am doing it now. I got robbed 3-4 times in my last big auction and shit pissed me off a lot!! There's really only 2 cheap ways to track packages thru USPS: Registered First Class Int'l (up to 4lbs only) or Int'l Express Mail. If you don't have either, paypal will give these scammers their money back. Believe me, they've gotten smart as fuck ESPECIALLY buyers from Italy! I definitely make the buyer pay for the add'l cost of shipping and definitely state it in my description IF THEY PAY USING PAYPAL. Int'l buyers also have an option of paying with a Int'l Money Order without paying the add'l S&H cost. I suggest you guys do it in order to prevent yourself form losing lots of money! Learn on your own if you'd like. Better take the safe road rather than learning the hard way... believe me.

FYI, I also made my listing as simple as possible with a CD Condition guideline so that bitches would stop crying about what's "Gem Mint," "Mint" or whatever the fuck they cry about. Those are my condition definitions I go by when listing. I also stated that I don't judge the damn jewel case so if they complain about that shit, i'll slap them right back with what is stated in my description.

You added this:
Canada & International customers are now required to pay additional fees for international tracking service on orders of $19.99 or more when paying with PayPal.

So what are these additional fees? Any estimation?
$13-$20 at the most. It depends on the quantity in the package as well as the weight of the package. If it's less than 4lbs, then $13 would be the most I would charge unless the package contains expensive cds and valued over $75. I would then require to go with Global Express. Normally Registered Int'l mail service starts at $10.50 but goes up if the package contents is valued higher. I charge $13 to cover the hassle of using that horrible steps in preparing the package. It varies from customer to customer but on average, look to pay $13 on top of invoice if your order is $19.99 or more.

Registered Air Mail is a hassle for US post office workers as well as the sellers since there's so much forms to fill out and the damn tape they require us to use! They make us use those old school brown tape where you wet it with water and place it on all corners and openings of the package. Believe me that shit is a bitch. Imagine doing more than 1 package thru registered mail!?! But then again its what I gotta do to cover my ass and make sure customers are receiving their package safely and in a timely manner.

I know shipping internationally has now gotten so complicated and horrible for Int'l customers, but it is what it is since people can't trust each other anymore.

I understand your point of view and the steps you took.

However you gotta understand my view too, so unfortunately I don't want to use this registered mail, cause paying for it costs more than it's worth.

On the other hand it's business and free market, so I don't condemn anyone for not using anything else than registered mail.

I agree. I hate to do it too, but It is what it is. You just can't trust people these days and that's some sad shit. I got tired of being on the bad end of the stick though. Oh yeah, it is a bitch filling out all of these damn forms (Customes, Register Mail, Tape and etc.) A lot of people don't understand what it really costs a person to make sure that they're taken care of.
